Definitely a great experience and a great way to support 4 different charities at once. The majority of the players were street ballers but I recognized some of the names. Former NFL player Terrell Owens played on team (Robinson) Cano and I'm here to tell you: Terrell Owens got game. No, seriously! The man got hops and everyone was blown away.
The arena wasn't sold out but that made the experience even better. The tickets were inexpensive. Fat Joe, Victor Cruz and T.I. were coaches, Angie Martinez and Jay Williams hosted, Justine Sky did the national anthem, DJ Khaled was "the commissioner", Jadakiss, DJ Clue, Fabolous, Nick Jonas, Josh Norman (He got boo'd because NY will always have Odell Beckham Jr.'s back. We don't forget!), Bre-Z (Fantasia Loaf) from the show Empire, Yandel, DJ Envy from The Breakfast Club, Dave East, Steve Weatherford from the 2012 Super Bowl champs NY Giants and more all played. Lots of signed merch to bid on or buy directly to support the charities or you can donate via text during the game. Come alone or bring the family, you'll have a great time. Sightings: The cast of Black Ink Crew, Remy and Pap, Demi Lovato, Michael Rapaport.
Pro tip: If you go next year or to any game at Barclays, bring a jacket or sweater. It's really cold in there.
