Sublime with Rome evolved from a multi-generational passion project honoring one of the most quintessential catalogs of the ’90s to a full-fledged band able to stand on their own. Over 10 years after the death of Sublime frontman Bradley Nowell, the Long Beach, California band’s surviving members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh connected with vocalist and guitarist Rome Ramirez and debuted as Sublime with Rome in 2009. The original trio were an instant marquee touring act, headlining their first tour in 2010 before releasing their debut album Yours Truly (2011), which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 chart. Gaugh stepped down later that year, but Sublime with Rome has carried on to release two more albums, 2015’s Sirens and 2019’s Blessings, along with co-headlining tours featuring The Offspring and Cypress Hill. They’ve also collaborated with Wiz Khalifa, The Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid.

Music was amazing, as expected! But the set itself was very, very short!
They started late. They didn’t play any of the old music. I was hoping to hear considering it a farewell tour and the show ended at 9:30. That’s too early. My tickets were almost $200. I should’ve got more than one hour of music 🙁…I left confused and disappointed.
Second time in 6 months we got the pleasure of seeing these guys live. Amazing show and I would love to catch them again before it all ends. Hope they are around my area again before this farewell tour ends. If not I’m glad I got to experience them twice. I look forward to whatever Rome does in the future, he is an amazing singer and I am now going to be a lifetime fan of his. See them if you get the opportunity, you won’t be disappointed.
Been a Sublime fan for decades and I really like Rome as the front man. Bradley was a great song-writer and had that "edge"but Rome is just a happy guy. Creates a better, less "angst"atmosphere. Rome just needs to bring a tiny bit more energy. I also like the Foxwoods arena. Better size than those giant MSG-style venues. (Don't really like the Foxwoods as a destination, though.) Looking forward to see what Rome will do in the near future. My 1 comment: where was the dog????????
Good show, not a bad seat in the house. Only negatives were that no original members of sublime were there and it was a short show (1.5hrs) it needed a opening act or 2. Rome did a great job but it should've been advertised correctly since the ticket prices were high, based on the original members playing.
Being a fan of all music, it was a tough decision…Sublime or Thomas Rhett? I picked Sublime as it was the first time they’ve been to my city in several years. The band/artists/ show did not disappoint. Excellent crowd interaction, great venue, free parking, amazing music, all around great night.
Great Venue Great Music Great time - Sublime with Rome is a Time Machine for me!
Sublime was great. The bass player who subbed in for Eric Wilson did a great job. The problem I had with the show was my Ticketmaster tickets said the show started at 8 pm. We got there a little after 8, expecting to see the opening band. Sublime was already playing and we missed some really good songs. So, lesson learned: double check what Ticketmaster tickets say.
I grew up listening to this band and Rome did an excellent job and considering they were missing their main man Eric on the bass due to a shoulder injury-they put on one heck of a show. I sorta expected a little longer of a show but I still loved every minute. Played a lot of the original Sublime favorites and a couple of their newer stuff, But I bet if they had Eric they’d have played more of their new songs and maybe even had a bit of a longer show. I loved the venue as it was outdoor but covered so it was nice and also small enough that every seat was a good one.
We had a great time out at Sublime! Love the oldies but also love the new songs with Rome. Have seen them twice this year.
