Best living guitarists at a noisy drunken venue
by Malt on 10/1/19The Cabot - BeverlySteve Kimock has been my favorite guitarist going back to the early 90s. His show would have been incredible if the attendees had been there to see this amazing musician. Sadly, the venue sounded like most people were talking during his performance. They were there to party and talk. I could hear some in the audience continually say, 'Shhhhhh". Right behind us was a group of 20 somethings chatting loudly about absolutely nothing at all except how they needed to go get more beers. I think this would be an awesome venue if the audience was there to see the artist. It's a smallish movie theater so any show has the potential to be very special. Sadly, even though Steve and friends put on a great show, it was hard to really enjoy it. They also made Steve end his show early due to time constraints. I doubt I'll ever be back here.
