Django A-Go-Go at Town Hall on 5/6/23 was excellent!! Stephane Wrembel brought many extremely talented musicians together for a fantastic concert of Django Reinhardt music and Django New Orleans. Stephane is an amazing guitarist, and the concert was fantastic!!

    Django would be proud

by Mati on 5/9/23Town Hall - New York

From the minute, Stephane walked on stage I knew I was in for an amazing concert . He is a brilliant guitarist, and has the warmest personality on stage. Watching the entire ensemble that Stephane had put together was jaw-dropping in their musical ability❤️❤️❤️

    Great Venue

by LB on 9/27/22Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club - Portsmouth

I was greeted at the door by a gentmen who made me feel welcome. He showed me exactly where to go where I was immediately greeted by an obviously well trained staff. I was seated right away and Shannonn introduced herself to me and took care of me all night long. Dinner and drinks were superb. No having to track her down for anything. She was the best. I was encouraged to explore the other rooms around which were awe inspiring. I cannot emphasize how gorgeous this space was. Even though it was big,you had the feeling you were in an intimate group. The show started on time. There was no intermission and it ran a little over two hours. I was at the Stephane Wrenble Show. He would also give us a little history and humor along with his playing. You could tell he was very passionate about his work. Definitely coming again. Keep up the good work!!

    Stephane Wrembel Charleston Show

by littlegrant on 6/3/22The Charleston Music Hall - Charleston

Great music. Top knotch musicians. The ensemble extremely tight but very fluid. Stephane is one the best guitarists in the world. Also an entertaining storyteller. And violinist Daisy Castro is a phenomena.

    FABULOUS!

by Ron on 6/1/22The Charleston Music Hall - Charleston

This is the second time we've seen Stephane. He and his musicians are some of the best we've ever heard. I hate to single out any one of them since they are all great musicians, but Stephane and Daisy Castro, the violin player are spectacular!

    virtuosic performance

by Martinleys on 11/24/19Florence Gould Hall at FIAF - New York

Great sightlines, perfect acoustics and phenomenal virtuosity from Stephane Wrembel. Hearing all Django’s solo pieces chronologically in a single concert is to discover a new composer who’s been hiding in plain sight. Fantastic.

    The Perfect Venue

by H.R. on 11/24/19Florence Gould Hall at FIAF - New York

This was one of the most enjoyable solo concerts I've attended.....and I've attended many in my 70 years. The theater is the perfect size room. Intimate and cozy yet having a fair amount of space as to not feel crowded. I noticed that the seating is set up for ultimate viewing so that there is no obstruction of view.....even if the person in front of me were wearing a hat. The acoustics and balance of sound (low end-midrange-high end) was crystal clear. I have seen Stephane Wrembel many times over the years and feel that he is both technically and creatively gifted. A very fine guitarist and musician indeed. This concert, Django L'imppressioniste, was a one of a kind performance that was uniquely and quite enjoyably different than the other concerts he has performed. I consider myself very fortunate to have experienced this performance in this theater.

    Django lives!

by Mycroft on 11/24/19Florence Gould Hall at FIAF - New York

A wonderful RE-creation of the solo music of Django Reinhardt. Stephane Wrembel is not only a gifted guitarist, but also a musical historian and engaging raconteur. A thoroughly enjoyable evening on all counts.
