If you’re looking for high quality acting in an intimate theatre this is it. Productions are always excellent in every way.

    It was excellent.

by Connie on 4/18/24The Gaslight Theater - St Louis

The performance was really well down and the actors were just wonderful. My first experience to the Actors Studio and I will come back. Hard to know the actors though when there was no printout about them. I always like to read about the their backgrounds.

    Great Performance!

by Margerelli on 2/20/24The Gaslight Theater - St Louis

We are very lucky to have our neighborhood theater. Such a wonderful selection of plays, all with stellar acting. Makes for a great night out. Go see a play!

    Subject matter dealt with seriously

by Malcolm on 2/14/24The Gaslight Theater - St Louis

A very good representation of a supposed dialogue between two nuclear scientists in the middle of WWII. The details were not overly complicated but intriguing, ( I am an engineer) and made me more curious about their contributions to fission. The actors did very well considering the length of the play and with only 3 actors to carry it. I was impressed by the quality of this local theater.

    Terrific theatre!

    by Joe on 7/10/23

Excellent plays, and great performances. The Liston play was really powerful. Amazing talent in a sparse setting, extremely wee done!

    Not funny.

by Searching for Funny on 4/24/22The Gaslight Theater - St Louis

I thought this was a terrible play. It was not in any way hilarious as described by the reviewer. Apparently sheer crudeness and high volume are equated with hilarity in his mind. My ears were still ringing the next day from all the screaming.

St. Louis Actors' Studio at the Gaslight Theater

by Carl S on 4/12/22The Gaslight Theater - St Louis

"Hand to God" is a terrific production, hilarious, moving and troubling by turns. The theater is intimate and friendly and the production staff very welcoming. We got to know the stage manager, and the assistant stage manager as they circulated in the theater and in the foyer/box office. This is a great way to do theater, in a small space, with excellent performances and a really good play. Bravo!

Gas Light Square is still alive and kicking!

by CWE local on 1/24/22The Gaslight Theater - St Louis

Great concert experience. An intimated venue was a fantastic way to experience the big band era both musically and vocally. Had an excellent time. The delicious restaurant and bar just next door and accessible through the theatre, didn't hurt a thing either. Please go and support this excellent resource in our community!
