Awesome show and so intimate. Sound quality was terrific and artists engaged with audience.

I've seen approximately 60 shows in my life, and this particular concert was easily top 3. I was blown away the entire time.

I enjoyed myself at this show. JJ Grey's voice is so smooth with inspirational lyrics and talented friends. The Pageant is spectacular! The staff and acoustics were accomadating. My first time there and I will definitely be going back!

Can't say enough about the extraordinary musical experience of SSA. Every song was like a masterpiece and the sound in the Orpheum was a definite triple-play. Communication fro Lafayette on last night's performance was repeated. Great Show!

The March 5th Southern Soul Assembly concert at the beautiful Orpheum Theater was exciting and moving. Each of the 4 guitar players ---- Anders Osborne, J.J. Grey, Luther Dickinson and Marc Broussard took turns introducing one of their songs. Luther played bass or mandolin on a few of the songs, Marc bass on one song. The set started with quieter songs then gradually built in intensity highlighted by one of Anders' songs that had the crowd buzzing and Anders shedding some tears. The interplay between the musicians was awesome, the songs great. Around 2/3 of the way through the 150 minute show Alvin Youngblood Hart and Ivan Neville joined the group. Yes, an amazing show!

Such an awesome show!! The lyrics were piercing. I love these guys!! Will definitely see them again for sure!!

Every single artist up on the stage was unforgettable!
