Dull and forgettable
by Dogdig on 4/25/14Port City Music Hall - PortlandNo comedy; no drama; protagonist was not even like able. It was a musical; but the music lacked any melody or pizazz. I do not remember a single song while for most musicals I replay the songs in my head for days. The choir, and the Nun were very talented as were some of the supporting actors and actresses, particularly the supporting actor. No memorable songs. Those sung by the protagonist were the worst. The whole thing seemed like a bad ego trip for the protagonist/author/star. The blue grass band was very good. I expected to hear some good music and a good story. There was good music in the lobby after the show.
