We thought the performance was good and we enjoyed what there was of it. This show lasted about 65 minutes. Began at 7:40PM and ended after an encore at 8:45. That ruined our opinion of the show at $40 per seat. They really need to add 20 or 30 minutes.
The band and the singer were competent, but I was expecting something that sounded more like Ella Fitzgerald, not just a woman singer singing some of her songs. The band and its individual members were good, but I was disappointed that it was not very much like Ella at all. I expected a tribute to be more like the person being given tribute, in the way that a Beetles tribute band is reminiscent of the Beetles in most ways.
