    Not that good.

The show was just not that good. The two main characters were annoying and whiny. The actors were okay, but nothing spectacular. The two younger actors playing multiple parts did well and had some funny turns in their respective scenes (mermaid scene, cafe scene). I would really not recommend this play for anyone below the age of 55 or so. It's very much about empty nest and having to live with your spouse after all the kids are gone. Even then it is hit-or-miss; the older audience members seemed to either find it hilarious or be indifferent.

    Sirens: Funny and Light-hearted

by madcheddar on 9/17/12Pheasant Run - St Charles

Sirens was a funny show that really touched on some of the challenges of marriage, the dark side of social media and how even the divine are addicted to technology.

    'Sirens'

by rtnouveau on 9/3/12Pheasant Run - St Charles

This was a contemporary romantic comedy, and I had great hopes. However, the play was badly written, one of the characterizations was dreadful, which means the direction was poor. I won't return to Fox Valley Rep.
