    Pretty Good!!!

by SIMPLYSTEPHANIE on 5/17/11Const. Hall - Washington

I thought the overall show was pretty good. I have always been a Ginuwine fan for the longest however I feel like alot of the ofher females, he could have really done alot more of his old music as well as the new. We knows his married with children but seriously?? give us what we came to see. ALL OF IT!!!!, but I gotta say the man is, still and will forever be so damnnnnnnn FINE!!!!. My first time seeing all the other gentlemen: Tank did a great job he gave us a good show. His guy back up singer could sing as well plus he was the only one who had a live band. Carl T has a great voice and Case did alot of his old school hits. Overall I would see them again just as long as the men give the ladies a 150% great sexy show. (LIVE BAND, DANCERS, BACK UP SINGERS...THE WORKS)

    TAAAAAAAAAANK!!!

by Sharkbooty on 4/17/11Constitution Hall - Washington D.C.

Now I am a huge Ginuwine fan but he was horrible and boring. Who can top Tank any how. I mean i have all of Ginuwine music but he was just doing too much. I end up walkig out because I was getting sleepy. Tank should've went on last. ALl the ladies wouldve stayed for that. GInuwine had crazy stupid skits that didnt make no sense. He kept changing his outfits, He was just doing too much. He need to take some tips seriously from tank. Tank performance was the best of all of course, let me speechless and I did not want him to get off the stage. Carl Thomas, and Case was aight though. Overall it was aight. I am glad that Tank was there because this concert wouldve been boring with out him. The comedian/host from bmore was funny though so that was a plus. The show sohouldve started on time. Not sure what happpened with that.

Silky Soul Singers Show...will be forgettable!!!

by Kazual on 4/10/11DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

When you think of a good R&B show that has this caliber of hit artists you would expect so much more then what you got. I traveled with six others, three and half hours to see this event, and most felt that February's Funkfest (Cameo, Sugarfoot's Ohio Players, The Bar-Kays, Con-Funk-Shun, and The Dazz Band) event was a way better experience. Case did perform all of his major hits, and showed off his singing ability (loved the Marvin Gaye tribute), but having a DJ hit some buttons on a machine, instead of a live band...REALLY!!! The crowd wasn't getting into his performance as much as must would expect. Then there was Carl Thomas, who also performed all of his must well known songs. A great singer, no doubt, but he didn't have anyone else on stage with him. The machine that was playing his tracks backstage, really toke a lot away from a great vocal performance. Once again, the crowd wasn't that energetic, and a quarter of the crowd was just arriving mid-way through his performance. I should know, because that was the time in which the must movement in the crowd had token place up to that point all night. Tank was next on the stage, and without a doubt was the female dominated crowds main want-to-see attraction. He put on a good show, had a live band, and didn't disappoint (until after the show). He stayed on stage way longer than his set time, and made sure he toke his extra 15 minutes at the end of his performance, to slowly take his shirt off for the ladies (WEAK!!!). I did however enjoy when he was handing out cash to random female fans, to pay them back for getting they're nails and hair done (that was another ten minutes extra). Finally, there was D.C.'s own Ginuwine. After losing a lot of his time to Tank, I got to see one of the must disappointing performances of the evening. I'm a big Ginuwine fan (I own the whole library), and expected to hear all of those monster hit songs live. He had a band, he had the crowd (other than the ladies who left after Tank's performance, who didn't show up until mid-way through Carl Thomas's). To only hear mostly new material, then to just get Differences, an acapella version of So Anxious, In Those Jeans, and (a very badly done James Brown inspired performance) of Pony. What the HELL...!!! Ginuwine's main redeeming moment of the night was at the photo meet and greet. It was suppose to be him and Tank (two seperate lines, and cost $20 a piece). Tank's line was half way around the building, while Ginuwine's was only half as long. However, Tank bailed after only 10-15 minutes, leaving a long line of fans (mostly female) upset and angry (but they were completely refunded). Ginuwine tho to his credit, stayed to do photos and autographs with all his fans. He then stayed even later to do retakes with those who's photos didn't turn out the first time.

    Carl Thomas Fan Forever!

by Ep8521 on 4/7/11DAR Constitution Hall - Washington DC

Case was okay, he could have sang touch me tease me, and happily ever after and that would have allowed CARL THOMAS to sing another two-three songs. I enjoyed everyone but I was left longing for Carl to sings songs from all the cds. I so love him and want to see him again. Carl Thomas, has so much class his voice was wonderful, I just think he's a CLASS A ACT he needs to do a solo show or headline.

    It was a good time

by GaSweetie on 4/7/11DAR Constitution Hall - Washington DC

My hubby bought me these tickets as a valentine's day gift. The best performance was definitely Tank. He did a fantastic job. Several days later I still can't get over how great his performance was. I definitely recommend seeing him in concert and he's definitely earned a new fan. The next best act was Case and then Carl Thomas. Ginuwine was okay. He needs to work on his show. I didn't like the gimmicks he did and his background singers looked out of place. He needs to take some hints from Tank. The comedian was HILARIOUS and the band was composed of some super sexy guys.

    The truth hurts.....

    by Summer76 on 4/7/11Constitition Hall - Washignton

I was TOTALLY disappointed by this show. First, let me say....Tank made the show with his vocals and overall performance. Case sang good but I got the impression he didnt put much thought into his act, and it should have been more creative. Carl Thomas' voice sounded okay however, the entire time when he sang, there was an ECHO!!! I didn't think it was intentional but when it wasn't corrected, I figured that it was. Lastly, Ginuwine....LORD, he was the head liner....his performance was quite sad!! Almost like watching a star who never really had it (stardom like others), fighting so hard to regain (atleast) the status, he had in the beginning. What in the hell happened to Ginuwine? Honestly, he needs to thank God for the blessings thus far and to NOT GET ON STAGE AGAIN UNLESS IT IS AT HIS FAMILY REUNION. HELLO! The whole fake America Idol Skit, the James Brown cape his hype men put over him at the end of his performance as he was riding it out ...like a pony (no pun intended)....was JUST A MESS! All in all, it was a waste of money and I am convinced any reviews on this page with more than 2 stars must be connected to the performers or the show some how. My first critique of the show was taken down (someone got into their feelings and reported it inappropriate)....I guess the cliche is correct....The truth hurts....let's see how long folks in Ginuwine's camp keeps this up. Whack!

    Tank was Sexy!!

by Taxlady on 4/6/11DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

I missed Case performance but I came into the concert while Carl Thomas was singing. He sounds great live. Tank gave a excellent performance, his singing, him giving away money, and taking off that SHIRT! I would see him again. Ginuwine, I'm not too sure about. He had a little boy come on stage before his performance, for what, I'm not too sure about. He only sang one song and went to change his outfit. His backup singers look like two thugs and were too loud. They did a stupid skit while Ginuwine changed his clothes. It was just too much noise for me. Ginuwine can sing live, I'll give him that, but lose the background singers. I eventually walked out during his performance after I woke up two of my girlfriends. The sound system was terrible. To much feedback in the mics. The background lights and pictures were awful.

    Tank is the Truth!

by Anonymous on 4/6/11DAR Constitution Hall - Washington

I had a great time at the concert. Only part that I didnt like that was that they took the biggest act (Tank) and put him on second to last infront of Genuwine. Lost the crowd when that happened. Also the show should have started on time at eight instead of almost an hour later. Because of that, Tank had to leave early to be at Lux and was unable to take pictures with the fans afterwards.
