Elmo keeps the little ones happy.

by hockeymom215 on 5/14/13University of Delaware - Newark

Although I didn't think this Sesame Street Live show was as good as one's I've seen in the past with my older children, it certainly seemed to entertain the crowd. While my daughter was on the older side (6 years old) of the mostly toddler/preschool age crowd, she thoroughly enjoyed the show and the characters. She loves going to shows of all kinds so it was right up her alley. She hasn't watched Sesame Street for several years now, but was interested in going to see them live. For the most part, I think Elmo and his friends just need to show up for the kids to have a good time.

I loved the show, beat my expectations! I take my son to Sesame Place and I thought this show beat anything they have hands down!

What a great show!!! My son enjoyed it so much!! The singing and dancing were phenomenal!!! What a nice touch having the characters come into the audience to shake hands with the kids. Overall, what a great experience!

    What happened to Sesame Street?

by Anonymous on 5/13/13University of Delaware - Newark

Very disappointing. All they needed to do was re-create a live Sesame Street episode and put the characters in front of the children to interact with the audience. Instead, they made a Hollywood version of the only authentic TV program left. Even "Elmo" wasn't good enough in their eyes to just be himself, but instead had to become "Captain Fuzzy." Clearly, the creators of the real Sesame Street weren't involved in this project. If this were a TV show, it wouldn't last another season.

    Good time

The kids loved the show! The characters came into the crowd on many occasions. The one issue was that it was an expensive family outing. And did I mentioned the $10.00 Elmo balloon...... With that said, I am glad we went.

    Exciting but loud

by NONICKNAME201 on 5/13/13University of Delaware - Newark

Our 19 month old son was captivated by the show. THe lights and characters made the event very exciting for all of us as we have not been to a live show for children before. The downside was the special affects sounds were very loud and scary to our son. Such as the "Booming noise" during one of the songs and initially the Popping sound of the streamers being shot into the air or the "Thunder from the Count scene." The volume over all we think could have been toned down a little bit. Also during intermission, they bring out at least 50 balloons of elmo to purchase and then ask everyone to put them below their seat so everyone can see the rest of the show. My suggestion is to sell these balloons after the show to avoid any irritated customers.

I guess when the show was less than half sold out just days prior should have been a red flag.

    Sesame Street Live

by Happyday567 on 5/13/13University of Delaware - Newark

The show was excellent. The children really enjoyed the show. There were only two other families sitting in the section with us so we all moved down to the lower seats. The view and sound were awesome. I didn't appreciate the characters going to every other section to stop and see children but walk directly past our children when they had to walk right past us to go backstage. We were literally all in the first row. Very disappointing for the children.

    Elmo's Super Heroes was WONDERFUL

by gaga5 on 5/2/13Sovereign Performing Arts Center - Reading

Very well done! It was much better than I thought it would be. All the Sesame characters were there, and the entire program followed the same sequence as a real show. The lighting and sound were very good, and the kids loved it all! I was especially impressed with the amount of time the Sesame Street characters spent in the aisles with the audience. Program better for 3-6 year old children. Noticed that many younger children, cried and had difficulty following the program.

Super Heros are so much fun when Elmo is involed.

by ColeyMarie on 4/3/13Broome County Arena - Binghamton

Elmo's Super Hero's is the first show I took my 2 year old daughter to see and it was a perfect choice. The music was fun and entertaining. They have an intermission, so if you need a potty break, you don't have to miss any of the show. The character Miss Kay was my favorite because she was so bright, sunny and she looked like she was having a lot of fun. The only thing i would recommend is at the end giving the kids a chance to meet the characters at the end of the show, even if it was only for 15-20 minutes. I Highly recommend this show if you have kids.

    Elmo's Super Heroes

by mac13903 on 3/29/13Broome County Arena - Binghamton

MY grandchildren loved the show. The characters engaged them and having them come to the audience and "high 5" is a great touch! The time length was perfect for a 3 and 4 year old.
