About

SERYN IN CONCERT:

Nashville-based indie-folk sextet Seryn creates uplifting, Americana-influenced tunes that blend traditional elements like upright bass and organ with a modern lyrical sensibility that’s all their own. The group’s soulful, soaring tunes are impressive on record, but in concert they take on even bigger proportions, filling venues both small and large with stunning harmonies, warm guitar tones, and unique instruments like vibraphone and banjo. From the spirited melody and clap-along beat of “We Will All Be Changed” to the arpeggiated guitars and to-the-rafters vocals of “Kaleidoscope”, Seryn always treats ticket buyers to an unforgettable live show full chock-full of first-rate musicianship and infectious energy.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Seryn was formed in Denton, TX in 2010 by six talented musicians who shared an interest in vintage folk music. The band rose to regional acclaim in 2011 with their debut album This Is Where We Are, an impressive slice of Americana-infused pop that drew them out for extensive touring. After relocating to Nashville, Seryn’s roster solidified around its current lineup – Trenton Wheeler (vocals and ukulele), Nathan Allen (guitar and vocals), Aaron Stoner (bass and vocals), Jenny Moscoso (vocals and banjo), Scarlett Deering (violin and vocals), and Jordan Rochefort (drums). The newly minted sextet made their debut in 2015 with Seryn’s sophomore album Shadow Shows, an acclaimed release that has fans eager to experience songs like “Kilimanjaro” and “Disappear” in concert.
