We loved the show. Every dance piece was unique, and fun to watch. We especially liked the number Jelly Fish, where the dancers were swinging on the large ribbons with huge white fabric covering them and bouncing with them to give the effect of actual jelly fish in the ocean. It was very clever. It was a wonderful show.
This was an absolutely lovely performance! The theme was woven beautifully throughout the evening. The dancers were wonderful!
I took my daughter, who is a dancer, to the Scorpious production of Dreaming in Water for their only performance on Saturday, April 13th. I myself have been a dancer/choregrapher in my day and have done countless performances then, and have supported and seen hundreds of dance productions since. Now, aside from Ballet Arizona performing the works of George Balanchine, THIS production, Dreaming in Water, is by far the BEST thing we have ever seen!!! Lisa Starry, the creator and visionary of the production, is a total GENIUS!!! The unique pieces,expedited by the extraordinary dancers, outstanding original music, phoenominal lighting, made it the TOTAL PACKAGE of EXCELLENCE!!!! BRAVO to Scorpious and the whole team!!!!
