If you like hockey this was a great family event, I like the fact that everything was so accessible and it was just fun to watch professional hockey close to home. The people working there were also very friendly
Definitely not the NHL, but very entertaining and you get decent seats at a reasonable price. Food is very limited and expensive for what it it. Limited selection of beers. You can easily drop $50 on parking, food and beer in addition to the tickets. Still it's a fun time if you want to see some very good players playing with lots of heart.
The SF Bulls are billed as an affiliate of the SJ Sharks and a minor league alternative to NHL hockey. The skill level is certainly not NHL caliber and seems slower, but if you are looking for close access to the ice in an uncrowded environment, this is a good choice. It is good hockey and you can move around the rink and change seats very easily. They have some fun intermission games and this is good for a cheap night out, and good for kids.
The game was my first of there augnaugeral season! It was amazing! It was so much fun! My husband & had the best time that night!!! You must go see these guys play! They are in the playoffs now! YEAH!!!
I promised my boyfriend Bulls tickets for Christmas and we finally had a chance to go to a game this past Saturday. Overall, we had a great time. The tickets were affordable and as the arena is small, even the cheapest seats offer a decent vantage point. While it was by no means packed, the fans were enthusiastic and fun. The staff (announcers, ice girls, food vendors) were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Probably the best customer service I have ever had at an event like this. While buying a couple beers, the guy helping me was talking about his favorite players and the highlights of the season. It appears to be a real community. The food was overpriced and wasn't fantastic, but that's to be expected. The game itself was a lot of fun. They players had a lot of energy and personality. A very good experience and a very fun time.
It was really fun to go and see a hockey game in San Francisco, at a good price for good seats and at the historic Cow Palace. Many different food options and beverages both alcoholic and non but the prices are pretty high. All in all it was worth it and we will be doing it again.
We had a great time at the game but the Bulls lost the game.
Exciting game, (5-5 then overtime then a penalty shootout), great pricing and even with a very Spartan crowd, a good atmosphere. go to a game and keep the team in town.
I took my nephew cause we never spend any time together and we had such a great time and saw one of the best hockey games I've seen. It being his first one now he's hooked.
This was our first Bulls game and had every bit of fun as we've had at Sharks games in the past!
The game was fun, the seating was poor. Unable to watch half the hockey action without feeling like you are in a house of mirrors.
Great event with my two sons EXCEPT the Bulls lost! We would also have chosen seats a bit more to the left or right of the announcer box in the future (too much glass).
The game was so much fun. Brought my two girls and they had a blast. We also loved the mechanical bull! Perfect family outing at a great price.
Best hockey game EVER. My son and I brought our dog since it was PUCK and PAWS day. The parade was cool and so was sitting in the dog owners section. I had bought tickets for the non dog section but the Bulls customer service person was able to exchange them for tix in the dog owner section. They were very nice about it.
This is the 1st thunder away game I've attended. The cow palace is a good place to see a hockey game.
It was a great game, a lot of fun for the family, god venue with alot of action going on the entire time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cold empty arena did not add to the game. Seats were expensive and not very good. We went with best available because the tickets were a gift, and came up with row E in section DD. that's the 5th row, so it sounded good. Theses turned out to be standard folding chairs on an elevated wood platform with no view except the far side of the ice directly in front of you. Why they call these the best available is beyond me. Cheaper seats would have been much better.
I was excited to check out pro hockey, I've always wanted to, so i bought these tickets for myself and my sister. I felt sorry for the team as the seats were empty, I mean NOBODY. Then to top it off, San Francisco got spanked!!!
I don't know why the stands were nearly empty. It was a great game with lot of action. Great to have signing afterwards.
