    Sam Beam never disappoints!

    by gwalsh617 on 5/31/16The Wilbur - Boston

This event was my fourth time seeing Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) on stage. I was, at first, worried that the show would not be as fulfilling due to the obvious lack of Iron & Wine songs. That being said, Beam and Hoop have created amazing music together and it was a pleasure seeing them perform together. If you haven't already, listen to these amazing musicians!!

Thanks Sam, Jesca, and Buckhead Theatre!

by SarahMcCunney on 5/29/16Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

This was the first intimate event I've ever been to, and also the first Sam Beam show I've ever seen after being a fan for about five years. It was a blast!!! Sam is so down to earth, and Jesca is so funny! The set list was perfect, and they sounded better than they do on the album. A great duo and a great time!

    Amazing Duo!

by Tryshee on 5/29/16Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

I've long been a fan of each artist and was excited to know of their collaboration. Seeing them together exceeded my expectations. In addition to their top notch talent, the set was adorned with lamps (nice touch) and the banter between them was enjoyable. Very well done. I know this joint project will be a huge success for them.

    Did not meet my expectations

    by Cheeky200386 on 5/25/16The Wilbur - Boston

I was highly disappointed not to hear more of Jesca Hoop's original solo songs. I was expecting that Sam Beam was going to open for her not that they were going to play songs together. If I had known they had formed a new band I would have never bought tickets. I wasn't feeling Sam Beam and Jesca Hoop together either. They made too many silly jokes that went on for far too long at moments. Miss Jesca Hoop alone.

    Really Awesome Show

    by Guy19 on 5/25/16The Wilbur - Boston

Not only did Sam and Jesca harmonize beautifully between each other and the band, they were very talented and hilarious. Their banter back and forth and with the crowd had everybody laughing and engaged. Her flighty charm vs. his down to earth quick wit created a very memorable dynamic. Overall I felt a part of the show and would recommend it to anyone. Not just great music, but a great experience.

Sam Beam and Jesca Hoop.. incredible.

by args on 5/23/16Town Hall - New York

Watching Sam Beam and Jesca Hoop last Friday night was nothing short of transcendent. Their beautiful voices washed over the hall, touching my heart and putting a smile on my face. The banter between them was funny and intimate... what a great pair. I went in knowing all of Sam's music, but not Jesca's. I left wanting to hear more of her work, which performed live was absolutely stunning. I wish they had done two nights because I would have loved to have gone again. The feeling of that night still resonates with me today and I've already played the album twice this morning.

    Sublime evening of acoustic music!

by mjt954 on 5/23/16Town Hall - New York

I selected this show because I am a long time Iron and Wine fan and because I have always wanted to see a show at the Town Hall. The venue was great, the music even better. The opening band was fun and talented, sending me back to the 60's New York folk era. Although I had not yet heard Sam Beam's album with Jessica Hoop, The music was wholly engaging and enjoyable. It didn't matter that I was only familiar with one song and that coming as a final encore. The writing, as characteristic of Beam was rock solid with songs by Hoop standing up every bit as strong as songs written together. The band played with subtlety and strength. The singing and the harmonies were rapt. I am heading out to get the new album right away and also to explore Jessica Hoops back catalogue. Wonderful concert.

    Excellent songs, excellent performance, excellent

by ghostsofthebadlands on 5/23/16Town Hall - New York

What an incredible show! Sam Beam and Jesca Hoop were a delight and their backing band was spot on. Their whole performance was musically and lyrically eloquent and there was a good dose of witty banter to boot. The opening act also gave some chilling vocal performances. Furthermore, the Town Hall has flawless acoustics, which was particularly great for a show like this.
