    Saga too loud

by Pots on 4/14/19Theatre du Casino du Lac-Leamy - GATINEAU

I saw Saga 5 times now and in Gatineau it was too loud .The sound guy did not a good job because the guitar was too loud compare to the other instruments. I knew all their songs , the setlist was great but for me the sound was not OK. I'm 62 with good earing ( maybe it's the sound guy who's getting old) and saw maybe 500 concerts in my life so I know good sound. My wife was with me and she also complain about the sound. I love Saga but for me the sound was not at par ( maybe I'm too picky but if I compare with other shows that I saw recently ( Steven Wilson - The Musical Box - Uriah Heep - Queen ) all have good sound.

Saga Amazing for the Third Time

by SagaFaninCalgary on 2/18/15Deerfoot Inn & Casino - Calgary

This is my third time seeing the band and they have been top notch every time. First time they blew Rush, yes Rush, off the stage. I'm a big Rush fan too! Back in the Worlds Apart days they put on one of my top 3 shows to this day, at the Calgary Jubilee Auditorium. I remember Michael Sadler (singer) saying they didn't think they had that many friends, Jubilee was mostly full during a Blizzard and now to the Casino circuit and it was mostly full as well. It was 30 plus years but they didn't disappoint. Good Crowd, Lots of Great Songs including some new ones from their latest SAGACITY. I hope they return soon. I'll see them any chance I get.

    SAGA is amaaazing!

by almcphee on 2/10/15The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

I am a fan....have been for a long time! The boyz showed that well seasoned rockers are the best! The show was excellent ,and is a great start to their 2015 tour. The crowd was into the concert from the start, and the band fed off that energy with a spring in their step, and energy that proved them the premier act that they are! If you get a chance to see them in 2015 ....DO IT......DONT BE LATE !

    Saga Sizzled and Sparked

by Ignoramus on 9/3/11Sound Academy - Toronto

Saga's first show with singer Michael Sadler back, and it was simply great. All of the band members were clearly having a great time, even to the point of things getting a touch ragged on a couple of songs - a real event considering how tight Saga have always been on stage. But Sadler's voice is clearly still in great shape, and he sang up a storm. The sound was excellent (except for the snare drum sound - what gives there?) and it must be noted that the always excellent Ian Crichton (an absurdly under rated/overlooked guitarist) was absolutely on fire. I've seen Saga a bunch of times over the years, and he's always spot on, but his performance during Thursday night's show at the Sound Academy was absolutely ferocious.

It is simply the best I have ever seen

by Jiminomenai on 5/17/11The Rapids Theatre - Niagara Falls

The charisma of this group is unbelievable, you can tell they have been playing for a long time and they actually enjoy being with each other's company, which is something very hard to find. Music wise, I challenge anybody to beat the guitar / synth simultaneous solos, and Michael sounds better than ever. Definitely you should not let this opportunity pass by
