This is the best country music festival we have ever been to. Despite the horror that took place this year, we hope they come back again next year. I believe it would be healing for so many. Great artists, great venue, already a great time.

2015 was GREAT but 2016 will be a bust

by 2dogsoffun on 1/26/16Las Vegas Village - Las Vegas

There were a lot of people, but you could sit up your chairs in the back and was the artist on the large monitors. However, this year they are selling you a seat, BUT wait…. There are no seats and in fact, they are saying you can’t bring in ANY CHAIRS. So you will be standing on Concrete the entire shows, roughly 8 hours.

    Great lineup!

by REDinCA on 11/3/14MGM Resort International - Las Vegas

The lineup is what drew me to this festival. I've never been to Stagecoach, and from what I've heard, this was SO much better! The crowds were manageable, the artists were phenomenal, drinks and music flowing all night long in the city of sin...not much can beat that. The HIGHLIGHTS were: Dierks shotgunning a beer with a lucky audience member, Miranda's ever present sass and girl power, Blake's mullet comeback, and Tyler Farr rolling with it when his sound went out. I love Jason Aldean but his holier-than-thou/don't-touch-me attitude onstage is starting to grate on my nerves. Seemed as though he's getting too big for his britches and has lost the ability to relate to fans from the stage. Dierks stole the show for me. He blew it out of the water, and I'm a bigger fan now than ever before. His love for country music, performing, the fans, and the appreciation for his blessings was palpable. DIERKS ROCKED. If anyone who puts these things together actually reads these reviews, my recommendations would be: have separate seating for lawn chairs. If you want to sit on your bum, do it out of the way of people who don't mind standing as a way to be closer to the artists. Offer meet and greet packages, from what I heard the VIP experience was a let down. I bought general admission tickets and after everything I've read, I'm glad I didn't spend the extra $150 for VIP passes. I appreciated the strong security and police presence, because we all know that drunks (especially young ones) can be unruly and annoying to the rest of us who can drink responsibly and are really enjoying the music and not just looking to slam beers and party. Wasn't thrilled with the DJ, either. Don't over do it with ticket sales, making it some huge and massive thing, because what people loved about it was the freshness, and the smaller environment. Although it was a festival, it still felt like an intimate concert experience with the artists. If you lose that, the festival will lose it's magic.

Great Festival Loved it all....... but VIP Upgrade

by gorgeousgreeneye on 10/29/14Route 91 Harvest Festival - Las Vegas

I purchased my ticket and VIP upgrade during presale, right at 10 AM. Excited to be going and have a place to get out of the sun, sit and see and hear the performers. But the lounge had an obstructed view so you could no see the performers. Also there was not enough seating. I did not use the VIP Lounge. Not worth the $128 I paid since I purchased in presale.. Came from Texas, so could not bring beach chairs. Other Than the VIP Upgrade-The Festival was Fabulous Recommend: Separate Section for beach chairs and blankets, more security and better job on training bartenders not to serve drunks. The performers were excellent and I will have a great memory of my trip.

The Route 91 Harvest Festival event was so great and I cannot wait until next year! It was very well managed and I truly enjoyed it. There was a large security presence including police, staff patrolling the area for trash and keeping the restrooms clean with all the necessary items available to patrons, there were plenty of food vendors and more than enough places to purchase alcohol. The decorations of hay bails and corn sprigs were a nice touch. Now onto the the line up.......it was AMAZING!! (I went to the ACM concert for a cause weekend event in April of this year near the Linq and although the line up of musicians was great the event facilities were awful. They had poor security and too little restroom facilities; you also had to purchase tickets in a long line for alcohol then wait in another long line to get the alcohol.....good thing the artists were great because otherwise I would have been very disappointed)
