RAC IN CONCERT:
The era of remixes as compelling as — if not more interesting than — their source material is well upon us, and Remix Artist Collective is at the genre's vanguard. Eschewing the diamond-precise nature of the traditional grid-based remix, the collective's members favor a more nuanced, organic approach that emphasizes the live playing of instruments and the warmth of analog outboard gear. With acclaimed remixes for a slew of indie acts including Phoenix, Delorean, and Phantogram keeping their live sets moving, RAC delivered nonstop dancing at their 2013 shows, promising more of the same on tour in 2014.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Created in 2007 by producers Andre Allen Anjos, Andrew Maury, and Karl Kling, RAC turned heads with their first remix, a shimmering electronic rework of the Shin's "Sleeping Lessons." Remix requests from a host of indie bands would follow, including Tokyo Police Club, Bloc Party, and Kings of Leon, garnering the collective a growing word-of-mouth following. As the group's most prolific contributor, Andre Allen Anjos has provided RAC with their signature sound, characterized by his use of the Roland Juno-60 and Univox MiniKorg synthesizers. Beginning to release their own material in 2012-13, RAC has earned a reputation as a stellar live act for their dynamic instrument-based approach to realizing their sound on stage.

Don't expect a DJ set. You should expect an unknown band playing RAC songs.
RAC killed it, Penguin Prison killed it, fun venue for sure.
I wasn't sure how RAC live would sound, but the concert was amazing!
i had a great time. the opening turned out really exciting which led to a more eventful concert when my band came out. thanks to all the beautful people for letting that happen
RAC is definitely a band you need to see live. Their music is a ton of fun to dance to!
Amazing show, awesome venue, couldnt have been any happier with RAC! Only thing is that there were 2 undisclosed openers and the show started super late. But it was worth the wait!!
As always, Sinclair is a great venue. This was one of the most crowded I've seen it, and even the opening bands were surprisingly enjoyable. Lots of energy, a solid song selection, and an always entertaining light engineer working his/her magic. RAC took a little while to come on after the opening acts finished, but it was excusable as they had to completely swap out stage equipment for them. Once they started playing though, it was fantastic and definitely one of the best performances I've seen. Was quite impressed at the live instrumentation that they had, and the high level at which they played. Not a dull moment during their set.
I did not know what to expect since the last time I saw RAC they were doing a kitsune event djing. I enjoyed the fact they had a full band and I had a good time dancing around to hits from 2010/11 but I wouldn't recommend if you are looking to see an actual band with original music.
I've seen RAC about 6 times now, and every show is such an incredible experience. This is a show not to miss.
