We need to star educating the people

by dark2087 on 10/7/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

It is sad when adults don't now how to behave and don't follow instructions, the lady next to me took her shoes off and put her foot on the back of the chair in front of her .When you buy your ticket they specifically told us NO cameras or kids under 6yrs, I guess adults at this time need to go back in time and learn manners. So now I know why kids behave like they do.

The LA PHIL and free just amazing

by KrZnLV on 10/5/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

Phil the House concert was totally awesome. I just wish it would last a bit longer, I undertand that this is a free event, but giving the public a bit more would not hurt.

    fun & entertaining

by violinlove on 10/5/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

it's a great way to introduce the piano & promote music to young people or people not familiar with classical music. I love to see a similar event that introduces the whole orchestra.

    Phil the House

by shootme on 10/4/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

For a free show, it was good though cheesy. It felt like a Disneyland show at times but when they actually played some pieces, it was great! There were only about 3 pieces: Mozart, Chopin, and can't remember the other. Though it was a free show and an "intro" to the LA Philharmonic, kids and food should be banned! It was annoying that they would ban no flash photography but not potato chip bags. If it weren't free, I'd be very annoyed.

    Not enough music

by Norkerwc on 10/4/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

I guess because it was free I should not say much; but there was more talking than playing. Most melodies were interrupted to explain or emphasize a point. When it seemed that I may finally enjoy the orchestra the show was over.

    Phil The House - Awful

by Bumzee on 10/4/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

The venue is outstanding. The event not so much. They had a comedy act comingled with the performance. Very cheesy act. It was too long, too boring, and too little performance. We were there to enjoy the Philharmonic performance, not a silly cheesy comedy act by 2 people. Everyone was bored and not so happy.

    L.A. Phil was amazing!!!

by Kaly72 on 10/4/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

These kind of events should be free more often for people who don't have the funds for it.

    Amazing for the KIDS

by Anonymous on 10/4/10Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

This event target audience is KIDS... So if you're looking for something a little more classy or more quiet and adult like, this is NOT for you... They really make it understandable and enjoyable... For a person like me that is not too familiar with the classical stuff, this was perfect... It is a great way to expose your kids to Mozart and other classical musicians...

It was very entertaining. This was my family's first time to see a performance at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. We enjoyed the seating, the show, and the venue. I would definitely take my family to see other events at this concert hall.
