Olivia Rox Tickets

Awesome Olivia Rox concert last night at the Canyon Club. It was a privilege to be there and hang with her after the show. This girl is definitely the next big thing, she sings like a young Christina Aguilera, with the vocal range and power of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and Steven Perry of Journey, and has the bubbly outgoing professional presence of a Taylor Swift. Plus she plays guitar and keyboards incredibly well. Just off the final season of America Idol's Top 10 last month, Olivia premiered 5 of her own original new songs that will be on her first album releasing this fall. Suprise guest performers at the show included 2 other American Idol Top 10 finalists, and her dad Warren Hill on Alto Sax. The show was so well rehearsed she even did 5 costume changes in less than 60 seconds each between musical lead-ins tot he next songs. This was Olivia's first ever solo show of what certainly will be a long and successful career, and it was so exciting to be there for the first one. Venue Note; I purchased stage front seats for a clear unobstructed view of the stage show, but the standing General Admissiion crowd began coming in and blocking out view. I had to ask people to move back out of our way, and eventually had to place a dining chip on its side in front of the stage to keep the view open between the stage and our paid reserved seats. I asked the front desk for Stage Security help, they said they would send some one, but they never came. I had to take crowd control in my own hands.

Olivia was a true professional for her age. She can rock it and she can hit every crazy note. It is beautiful to see Olivia perform with her father. We love her and can't wait to see where her career goes. We loved seeing La Porsche Renee. She is amazing for supporting Olivia.
