    Newsies

by MidknightKate on 9/12/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Great production even with some new revisions from the movie. The top 1/2 of the stage was lost because of the balcony overhang which I did not know about having never been to the theater before. But the show itself was fantastic. The tap number was my favorite. I think tap is a lost art.

Farewell Newsies! We will miss you!

    by Newsie65 on 9/6/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I have seen this show 5 times (including two weekends in a row this summer) and I would see it again. It is wonderful. How sad that this is the last tour...

    Great Stagework at Newsies

by Stolorg on 8/20/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I thought the choreography was fantastic and the cast really gave 100% on working together and presenting themselves on stage. I thought that the sound on some of the musical numbers made some of the voices hard to hear or distinguish from the background noise, but overall a great performance.

    Newsies is the best musical!

by KikiNieco on 8/17/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This was my FIFTH time seeing the Newsies and I would easily see it five more times - or five times five! My family has traveled to Cleveland, Washington, D.C., Detroit, Chicago, and Cincinnati and every performance is top notch! The best part is afterwards at the Stage Door when we have the opportunity to share how much we appreciate their hard work and talent. Meeting the actors who put every ounce of energy and joy into each performance gives encouragement to other actors, singers, and dancers. Always a fabulous show and an amazing cast. Well done once again!

    Great Story Line

by IOnlyGoToMusicals on 8/12/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I wasn't sure if this could hold up to oldie but goodies like Lion King, Singing in the Rain, etc. But it did! It has a great story line, talented singers/athletes and a unique set. The tumbling and tap is amazing! The "complimentary" suite access was good for use of the private bathroom. Wine was definitely a well drink grade.

    Well worth it!

by quarterdocker on 8/11/16Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This was a fun production, even if I didn't watch the movie beforehand. Good musical numbers, good gymnastics and very entertaining story. When this comes back to town, see it. You won't regret it.
