Expectation was to hear some classic opera arias. Microphones produced very loud sounds which was to high for my enjoyment. Beautiful tenors singers but sound system made it a disappointing experience.
An energetic and entertaining performance by good (not great) tenors, supported by our wonderful Fox Valley Symphony, was spoiled by over-amplification. The sound system distorted the singers’ and even the orchestra’s sound. We have experienced this before at “Broadway” musicals appearing at the PAC and don’t go to them anymore.
I had great seats. The New York Tenors and the Symphony were enjoyable beyond anything I expected. Not only was the music inspiring, but it was recognizable, relatable, and the humor was clean and lighthearted. I can hardly wait to see them again.
This was a very enjoyable show. I attended with my 90 year old mother. She loved the entertainment & was able to navigate the venue with no difficulty. Everyone left the concert with a warm & positive feeling. A great beginning for the Christmas Celebrations of the next few weeks,
Everything about the show was wonderful. The young high school students who opened up the show really got you pumped up. The Tenors were amazing, especially Christopher Macchio- he has the most amazing voice. Jim Labriola was funny beyond beleif and he kept it clean for the audience and the bishop.
Each Tenor brings a unique gift to the stage and yet they blend well. When the Bishop was invited to sing my expectations were very low. However he was terrific! The comedian was hilarious and I would pay to see him as a feature act.
