The multi-platinum Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram is one of the most popular artists in the Arab world.
Known worldwide as the "Queen of Arab Pop," Ajram released her first album, Mihtagalak, in 1998, when she was only 15. She released her second album, Sheel Oyoonak Anni in 2001. For her third album, 2003's Ya Salam, Ajram joined forces with the talented producer Jiji Lamara. Ya Salam included Ajram's breakthrough hit "Akhasmak Ah." She released Betfakar Fi Eih in 2008, which won Ajram a World Music Award for World's Best-Selling Middle Eastern Artist.
Her next hit, "Ya Banat," helped Ajram become the first Lebanese singer to surpass 100 million views on YouTube. In 2022, Ajram's single "Sah Sah," a collaboration with electronic DJ and producer Marshmello, became the first Arabic language song to premiere on Billboard's Dance/Electronic chart. Ajram also released several children's albums, including 2012's Super Nancy.
Ajram is also known for her elaborate video productions, which propelledw her career as an ambassador for major brands, including Coca-Cola and Sony. Oprah Winfrey called her one of the most influential personalities in the Middle East. The Best of Nancy Ajram was released in 2023 as a 36-track compilation of her most popular hits.

Nancy Ajram was born in the Achrafieh district of Beirut, Lebanon. Her career as a performer began at age 12 with an appearance on the reality show "Noujoum Al-Moustakbal" ("Stars of the Future"). She performed a song by Umm Kulthum and won a gold medal in the Tarab category.
Ajram has won numerous awards and accolades, including the Arabian Music Award's Best Female Arab Singer of 2004, the 2010 Arab Sound Award's Best Arabic Female Singer, and the 2014 World Music Award's Best Selling Lebanese Singer. She's also served as a judge on the reality TV show "Arab Idol."
