Miki did an awesome job connecting with the audience and being her funny self! I think I will see her again in LA
I love the venue! The food wasn't the greatest, but the set up of the venue, no matter where you're seated, you'll have a great view. The performance was great! Miki still got it and she looks amazing at the riping age of 55, despite her past challenges! She is an awesome performer!
The show was great. It was my birthday and I thought Miki would bring it and she did. I don't know where else I could have seen my favorite female jazz artist on my birthday and have barbecued ribs. If you get the chance...Come Share Her Love:-)
This was my first time seeing Miki Howard and I loved her show. I have loved all of her music through the years. She was very humorous. But she still got it and I loved it, Her band and background singers were the best.
Miki Howard was awesome. She sing all our favorites that we know her for. On a couple of songs she moved throughout the audience which gave a very personal setting to the event. Her interaction with the audience was one of the greatest attributes of the concert. Loved her personal chats with all of us in the audience, very down to earth and appreciative of her fans.
If you are a true lover of 70's/80's REAL music and voice...Miki Howard is your girl. She was great! Her stage presence was good, tone and band. She has so many great hits and she preformed them all. So glad I got a chance to she her. A true artist.
Had such a great time seeing Miki perform! The band, background vocals, and of course Miki were absolutely amazing!
I would recommend this concert to anyone who really likes Mikki Howard as a little Mikki is better than none. However, the event began 30 minutes after the scheduled start time, lasted 55 minutes, and ended without any encore. There didn't seem to be any promotional items. cd's, shirts etc The topper for us was that while Mikki looked great and definitely still has some pipes, she chewed gum throughout the entire show, brief as it was. The other oddity was that her security was ever present, following her around the concert floor as if she had thousands as opposed to the maybe few hundred who were on hand which was not only weird. It was distracting.
Show was absolutely GREAT. Was not sure if she would sound good, but she's still got it and looked Fab. Very down to earth and knows how to relate to audience. Loved that she did my FAV song near beginning. Only hick up was show didn't start til 8 but ended on time for next show. Other than that, loved that she came thru the audience (& I shook her hand) on last hit. Will always love Miki !!!!
