The audience interaction with Train and Matt Nathanson made this a concert to remember.....
Maroon 5 was first and played all of their hit songs. It was almost as if they were playing the songs right off the CD! It sounded amazing. Train was really good at incorporating the audience into their performance. They brought ladies on stage, and walked around the stadium during 'Marry Me'. I would highly reccommend this concert to anyone.
The show was amazing...the bands were great and the crowd involvement was so fun. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the venue. One frustration was the line for the t-shirt sales. There was only one booth on each side of the stadium which caused the lines to be extremely long and I missed part of the show because of it. I was in line for 45 minutes....this was a bummer. I would recommend that the venue consider adding more places where these items can be purchased and adding more staff to assist.
Matt Nathanson was very entertaining & funny. I was there to see Maroon 5 which brought the house down! Adam rocked song after song after song. Full of energy performance. Train didn't disappoint either. He put on a great show too. He interacted with the crowd & really connected with his fans. All three together seemed to have a great chemistry with their pranks that they played on each other during the concert added a little personal touch with the crowd. But I have to say it could have just been Adam up there all night & I would have died a happy woman <3 Everyone that worked at the Cynthia Woods Pavilion from the entrance, t-shirt sales, concessions & seating staff were all extremely courteous & friendly. Our ONLY complaint was that during Maroon 5's time the overhead fans in the covered seating went off & it got extremely still & hot. We were dripping with sweat during that whole performance, but when their set ended & they started setting up for Train, the fans came back on & the rest of the concert was very comfortable. Not sure what happened but that made it very uncomfortable. Otherwide everything else was amazing!!
It was an amazing show. Train complemented Maroon 5 completely. Most entertaining.
The concert was wonderful. I got to sit on the fisrt row of the lawn seats and saw everything. The bands wer excellent adn even played jokes on each other.
I initially bought the tickets because of Maroon 5. I've always been a fan and I will always love you, Adam. lol I had honestly never paid much attention to train. I just knew they played "hey, soul sista". But i was surprised to find out I knew and liked alot more train songs then I imagined. Train;s perfomance was outstanding! I would def see it again today, if I could.. and tomorrow, and the day after. Forever and ever!
Went to see Maroon 5/Train last concert of their 2011 tour ....What a GREAT show...Adam Levine is such a great performer..such great showman...and then Pat Monahan OMG soooooooooooooo great to sing along.Overall, one of the best concerts I have been too.
Unfortuantly we missed Matt Nathanson because we got caught up in traffic. But I had the best time at this concert with my best friend. Maroon 5 is my favorite band and after all these years I finally got to see them and they did not disappoint me at all. Train was fantastic as well. We plan on trying to go see Maroon 5 again and make it a ritual. Maybe try and get better tickets next time. $15 for lawn tickets was definantly a good deal and we enjoyed it but it would be even better to see them normal size. LOL
Best show EVER!!!!!!! Seats were great! Performance was amazing!
Wow! Wow! Wow! I was blown away by these two groups! Absolutely fabulous concert!!!
Maroon 5 was great, better than I thought since I really went to see Train. It was their last tour event in Houston and it rocked! Train was amazing. He interacted and involved the audience throughout the whole show. Hope to see them back next year!
All three performers put on a great show!! The show was a lot of fun!
It was an incredibly concert! Loved every second of it. Food was great, BANDS were incredible, music was loud enough! Great concert
Maroon 5 and Train both gave outstanding performances. I have been anticipating this show for months when I bought the tickets and both bands delivered an unforgettable performance!!
One of the best concerts ever. We had great seats. I got to touch Adam and that was the higlight of the evening. I am so glad that I went.
I felt a little misguided by the name of the show. Train & Maroon 5 implied to me that Train would be performing before Maroon 5. You can imagine my surprise when Maroon 5 took the stage at 8pm. Luckily I had arrived early, so I didn't miss anything. However, I paid to see Maroon 5 headline the show, and was disappointed that Train played last.
Matt Nathanson, Maroon 5 and Train put on the best concert of the year in my opinion! This was the last performance of this tour for all three and it was fabulous! They blew the roof off! The concert was four hours of non stop music and fun. Pranks were pulled on the performers by the performers, the music was great and fun was had. While Train performed Pat Monahan called some girls from the audience up to the stage and my niece ran up and they let her on stage! That was great! Then toward the end of the concert, Pat, Adam, and Matt all came off stage and walked the parameter of the lower seating area! It was great!
Matt was funny and entertaiining and opened the show with a fresh, cool performance (on a hot Houston day). Maroon 5 opened with "Moves Like Jagger" (my favorite) and rocked the house! Adam never stopped moving and sang their hits with unique variation on the originals.Train was fabulous and I was blown away by the quality of their sound. Even though it was the last night of their tour, they all displayed an energy that radiated throughout the show with some funny pranks along the way. One of the best concerts ever and Cynthia Mitchell was the perfect venue!!!!
The concert was amazing. Both bands are really great live which is rare these days. It would have been perfect if Maroon 5 went last. But the guys did an amazing job.
