About

LUNCHMONEY LEWIS IN CONCERT:

American rapper and producer LunchMoney Lewis topped the charts in Australia with his 2015 debut single "Bills," and it's only a matter of time before his stateside success catches up with his clout Down Under. Lewis' journey has involved some of the best in the business – he cut his teeth as a producer working with legendary pop impresario Dr. Luke, he rapped on Nicki Minaj's 2014 album The Pinkprint, and he co-wrote Jessie J's hit single "Burnin' Up." As if those high-profile collabs weren't enough, Lewis has made a name for himself as a killer performer thanks to his inimitable sense of humor and infectiously positive attitude. At his live shows he radiates good vibes, delivering his funny lyrics with an upbeat mix of rapping and singing that always gets fans moving. It's a total party anytime LunchMoney Lewis takes the stage, and ticket buyers lucky enough to catch him on the rise will have no trouble seeing what all the buzz is about.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Miami-born Gamal "LunchMoney" Lewis was surrounded by music from an early age – his father and uncle co-founded the reggae band Inner Circle, and their Circle House Studios has hosted notable rap acts like Flo Rida and Lil Wayne. In his teens Lewis started working with hip hop producer Salaam Remi, who dubbed him "LunchMoney" and showed him the ropes of songwriting and producing. After a stint working alongside primo producer Dr. Luke, Lewis turned heads with his rap skills on Nicki Minaj's 2014 track "Trini Dem Girls" and flexed his songwriting chops penning hits for artists like Jessie J and Fifth Harmony. He made his solo debut the following year with "Bills," a surprise hit that peaked at No. 1 in Australia and No. 2 in the UK. With anticipation for his full-length debut at fever pitch, Lewis has fans lining up to see him perform his witty brand of pop-influenced hip hop in concert.
