    Great boxing event

by RapFan on 3/8/16DC Armory - Washington

I was glad to see that HBO boxing came to the DC Armory. This was a great event and had plenty of action all night. The best part of the event is that it was held on a Saturday and there were a lot of fights to watch and they were all very competitive.

    Promotion was cheap. "Goldenboy."

by Khillazoe on 3/8/16DC Armory - Washington

The fight was to be expected. Thompson getting knocked out... The seats weren't as good as they could have been. What really bothered me about the promotion was there were no bills to check out the bios of the undercards. Also parking was atrotious. In a pothole riddled parking lot which had my lady almost falling with every step. And not a souvenir in sight.

    Fun night at the Armory.

    by estreet66 on 3/8/16DC Armory - Washington

The D.C. Armory is almost like a throwback. It's an older building without a video replay board. Not sure I would want that for every event, but for this one night, it was very cool. I had good seats. The crowd was into it. I had good seats that were reasonably priced. I had not seen top-level boxing in a long time. Very fun.

    HBO Boxing Live in DC

    by Leeman88 on 3/8/16DC Armory - Washington

I was disappointed with most of the fighters with the exception of Vargas and Kevin Rivers who was on the undercard. The level of competition sucked. However it was great to have boxing in DC

    Great Fight !!!

    by twashi8292 on 3/8/16DC Armory - Washington

First, I would like to say the event kicked off on-time at the DC Armory with many under card fights. The undercard fights were great leading up to the main event. If you never been to a professional boxing event, I suggest you put it at the top of the bucket list !!!

Fights, especially Vargas Awesome, Valet Atrocious

by BennySugar on 3/8/16DC Armory - Washington

The Vargas Fight was superb. He looked fantastic. The $40 valet was the worst valet service I have ever experienced. After 40 minutes of waiting with the mob of fight fans, all of us astonished at the absence of service, I hiked the distance to the valet lot. I found a mad huddle of valets struggling over the key board and miraculously found my own key and car and got out of there. It was a travesty of service and a fine way to feel scammed out of $40 bucks. It's a crying shame that the class Vargas showed in the ring did not carry over into the aspects of fan service outside the venue.
