Los Tigres del Norte on Tour
With their piercing wails and songs that passionately tell of blue-collar hardships, love, loss, and the war on drugs, Los Tigres del Norte evoke plenty of gut-wrenching emotion in their repertoire. Boasting a career that spans more than five decades, these beloved norteños continue to inspire legions of fans from both sides of the border.
Armed with Jorgé's mad accordion riffs, Hernán's fuming electric bass lines, Eduardo's brilliant sax, Luis' snarling 12-string guitar fret-work, and Óscar Lara's powerful drumming, their live performances are known to be riveting. They keep their sets lively and evocative with meaningful messages that build solidarity with the Latin diaspora. Impressively, their in-demand showcases even broke Cardi B's attendance record at RodeoHouston in March 2019.
Los Tigres del Norte Background
No other norteño group tells the story of the immigrant experience in the U.S. quite the way Los Tigres del Norte do. Mexican immigrants themselves, they moved to San Jose, California, from Sinaloa, Mexico, in the late 1960s as teenagers. Led by vocalist and accordionist José Hernández, they started playing locally.
When the Hernández troupe of brothers and cousins caught the attention of aspiring music promoter Art Walker, he recorded their early material and made them the basis of his Fama Records.
In 1971, the frontman heard a live mariachi song about cross-border drug trafficking, a pivotal moment that would inspire Los Tigres' heartfelt and cinematic songwriting. Their wildly popular first corrido, the polka-driven "Contrabando y Traición" ("Smuggling and Betrayal") even inspired a movie of the same name in 1977.
Just about every year since their emergence, the prolific Northern Mexican cowboys have served as working-class heroes, narrating candidly the lives of the voiceless population in songs that transcend generations — hits like "La Jaula De Oro," "La Bala," "La Puerta Negra," and the recent "Un Consentido de Dios."

Los tigres del norte are the best and I will continue to assist to their shows.
The performance was amazing! However the sound was terrible and it was not because of the band, I think the sound team could’ve done better at adjusting the sound. It was hard to hear the words in the songs due to the muffled loud sound.
Show was good, but the lady infront of me didn't sit the entire concert and was blocking my view. Very sad since i was on section 102 and tickets weren't cheap.
I loved going, having all the different ages groups present. You can feel all the people energy as they sang and also us singing along in the crowd.
Wow! Que energía , cantaron muy bien por mucho tiempo. Uno de los mejores conciertos que e visto
Show was fantastic, they kept the audience engaged and played some great music would watch them over and over again.
An amazing show, it was great to see my music idols. They gave a great performance, all the favorite songs, and some surprises. Definitely recommend.
Since I was a little girl I wanted to go to their concert, I finally made my dream come true. All my childhood memories (back in El Salvador) came back, with my abuelo and my tios, listening and singing their songs! I really loved their show!
I'm a long-time fan of Los Tigres. I saw them in Chino in the early 90s as a 12-year-old and that was a phenomenal concert. Fast forward to last Friday (2/2/24) and I was underwhelmed this time around. The band delivered playing their hits and fan favorites. It was the audio at the venue that was unbearable. The band needs to rethink their sound engineer because the volume was turned up way past 11!!! And with the saxophone, accordions, heavy bass sounds, and high-pitched vocals it was unbearable to listen to at times. The video screen shook from the bass and my ears were bleeding. I've been to plenty of concerts ranging from hip hop to norteno and heavy metal and this had by far has to be the most unpleasant concert i've been to from a sound perspective.
Loved that they didn’t have an opener band. They started on time and played for almost 4 hrs. Great show.

This was a great concert! I surprised my dad with tickets to see his favorite group Los Tigre’s Del Norte and boy was he surprised he sang from beginning to end and he just kept smiling. I know this was so worth it. He and I had a great time!
Great experience loved it and easy access just the exiting after the concert was unorganized
I grew up listening to Los Tigres del Norte ever since i was a kid. We always called them uncles since we share the same last name. Their gritty and honest lyrics have won the hearts of every proud Mexican on both sides of the border. The experience was a dream! I took my mom to see them and at one point she cried because these songs made her reminisce about the past. Their songs are attached to SO many memories of our family gatherings and the struggles we've had to face as immigrants. We can't wait to see them again and are so grateful for the experience.
Tigres del Norte always put on some of the best shows ever!!! Had an amazing time!
