In 2016, LAUNDRY DAY formed at Beacon High School in New York City. Jude, Sawyer, Henry, and Henry (yes, there’s two, and they share a birthday) would spend any free time they had writing songs in the basement. By the time they graduated in 2020, they’d independently released 3 albums and 2 EPs, and toured all around the country. Headline shows, festival gigs at Austin City Limits and Tyler, the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw, and opening slots with the 1975, Clairo, and Omar Apollo. When the pandemic hit, the boys stuck together. Meanwhile they were making waves on Tiktok after being used as the closing song in the Season 3 finale of the Netflix series, “On My Block”. Fast forward: the boys are self proclaimed “Road Dogs,” who just drove themselves around the U.S. twice supporting Neon Trees. On stage, they donned stereotypical school uniforms paying homage to their origins.
Since the start of 2024, the boys have leveled up their social media game, doubling their audiences on Instagram and TikTok: their viral videos even got them a co-sign from Drake. As they continue to pursue their goal of playing every college in the country, growing their audience one kid at a time. For now, they’re New York famous. Next stop: The World.
I’ve seen them multiple times in Chicago and Detroit. They’re always a great time and love their stage presence! You can tell they actually love what they do and will definitely be seeing them again when they stop by!! Super catchy and fun songs!
Laundry Day was so amazing! They always perform with high energy and so much commitment! They also make time to talk to and appreciate their fans which is so important. One of the most awesome bands ever. I cannot wait to see where their future takes them!

Laundry Day was absolutely amazing, but the staff started off by harshly yelling at us for the way we were lined up outside even though everyone was willing to cooperate and follow directions. Then, we get inside and there was a decent amount of security, however no one did anything about controlling the crowds behavior and how overcrowded it got. Once the show started, I ended up getting hurt and separated from my friends and spent most of the show crying even though they are my favorite band. Anyways, I’ll probably not see a concert here again, but hopefully I’ll get a better Laundry Day experience soon.

They just absolutely ate it up. Energy was there, talent was there, I was there. Highlights include Lavender and the baby they brought on stage. 10/10 would recommend!
