What an amazing experience! Thank you to the Kirov Ballet for bringing The Nutcracker to life for my daughter for the holiday season! One of the best performances I've ever seen. Just beautiful.
Swan Lake by Kirov Ballet was even more exquisite than I expected. Beautiful and moving. So much artistry, grace and beautiful music. I saw it for the first time when I was 8 yrs old. So wonderful to see it again in my thirties. I wish they had kept the original, darker ending. But GO SEE IT.
It is always nice to see a "happy ending" and the Kirov version of this classic ballet has a happy ending. The dancing was not as expected. I found the dancers tentative as if they were "holding back" and that may be due to dancing in a unfamiliar venue. The dancing was world class but you felt that they could be even better. All in all it was a wonderful experience.
It is an exceptional treat to see the best ballet company in the world perform the most romantic and beautiful of all ballets, Swan Lake. In one word - exquisite. The ballet dancers are rare combination of ethereal beauty and exceptional strength, which captivates and enchants. I wish that everyone could see this ballet performed by the world famous Mariinsky (Kirov) ballet company - it is a must do item that will be thoroughly enjoyed.

The ballet was beautiful!! The choreography was great and the dancers were elegant, graceful and a pleasure to see. The jester and black/white swan was spectacular and absolutely stole the show. A truly enjoyable experience.

It was everything that I had expected from the Kirov Ballet. Beautiful dancers, they were floating on air, superb dancing and all around great production. The only negative comment I have is with Sony Centre for allowing people to take pictures. The entire first section of the ballet was constantly interrupted by ignorant people snapping pictures.
