    Kenny Barron's Platinum Band

by Anonymous on 10/28/13Curtis M Phillips Center for Performing Arts - Gainesville

Stellar musicianship in an expertly paced program. Mr. Barron is an important part of jazz history and should be seen and heard if he's anywhere in your vicinity. My group traveled two hours to see him and would travel four or five if he came to Florida again.

    Musical Artistry on Display

by NYerinTX on 4/14/13Jo Long Theatre - San Antonio

I liked the venue and the music was truly something to experience. Kenny Barron was masterful, his drummer was amazing and his bassist did some things on the standup bass that I've never seen or heard before. I definitely recommend seeing this show.

    Kenny Barron Trio

by obanion6 on 4/14/13Jo Long Theatre - San Antonio

Genius virtuosity beyond my live listening experience, which includes many great musicians. For me, an hour is enough to get the point. On the last drum solo I wanted to stand up and say “okay, pleases, enough I get it”.

    Kenny Barron is the Best!

by JazzyVal on 11/7/12Fowler Museum UCLA - Los Angeles

this was an event that brought goosebumps that are still with me! it was an extraordinary solo performance by Kenny Barron. he is a Jazz Master. i know my jaw wasn't the only one that was hanging during a display of his amazing talent. and a bonus was an excellent interview by Eric Reed.
