About

JORDAN RAGER IN CONCERT:

Rising country star Jordan Rager first impressed downhome music fans in 2012 when Blake Shelton selected him on season two of NBC's The Voice – even calling him the first real country singer in the show's history. Four years later Rager stormed the country music charts with his 2016 debut single "Southern Boy," a collaboration with his good pal Jason Aldean that has fans eager to witness more of Rager's traditional yet modern tunes in concert. In concert Rager performs standouts like "Now That I Know Your Name" and "Feels Like One of Them" with plenty of classic Southern charm, but this millennial talent delivers his catchy tunes with a modern lyrical sensibility that makes the familiar sentiments seem brand new. Jordan Rager continues to live up to his reputation as one of the most promising young voices in country music, winning over ticket buyers with his fun-loving spirit and genuine demeanor everywhere he plays.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Jordan Rager inherited his musical interests from his father, a pastor who frequently led his congregation in song. Raised on his father's music collection (which included Kenny Logins, Alan Jackson, and Travis Tritt), the younger Rager was performing at local bars by age 15. Barry Williams (Jason Aldean's father and manager) mentored the fledging tunesmith and helped him find work as a songwriter in Nashville. During this time Rager also built a considerable online following covering famous country hits on his YouTube channel, eventually racking up more than three million views. His hard work caught the attention of NBC's The Voice, which invited him to audition for the series' second season in 2012. Though he was eliminated in the battle rounds, Rager self-released his debut album Burning Gasoline later that year and supported Justin Moore on the 2013 Off the Beaten Path tour. He inked a deal with Broken Bow Records the following year, and in 2016 he released his official debut single "Southern Boy" to a Top 40 spot on the US Country Airplay chart. Fans are eager to hear more from Jordan Rager, and his rousing live sets offer the best chance to catch him on his rise.
