by Vovik on 9/24/14Auditorium Theatre - ChicagoMy wife and I liked two first pieces. Balanchin's work - excellent ballet work Chausson Poem a bit monotonous and not engaging as the first piece. But the violin was absolutely fantastic. The third piece RaKu is maybe of interest of those who likes the Oriental culture. We did not care for it much and left in the middle. Very poor notes in the Playbill. After all this is a ballet and the audience would be much more alert if they knew what they are looking at. But overall it was a time worth to spend.
