Tuesdays with Morrie was Emotionally Deep

by Richard on 5/17/23PHILANTHROPY THEATRE - El Paso

The characters in the play demonstrated the Existential concept that the playwright wanted his audience to experience when it comes to death and dying. Also, the theatre is so beautiful, every seat is a good seat. I plan to see every play in the Jewel Box Series!

    Life Experience

by Marcie on 1/15/20PHILANTHROPY THEATRE - El Paso

I love short plays because it reminded me of all the experiences in my life when was growing up. They where simple plays but I can relate to them. The writer did a very good job. I love also the actors.

Beauty and the Beast was phenomenal

by proudparent2004 on 2/14/17PHILANTHROPY THEATRE - EL PASO

The Jewel Box Series: Beauty and the Beast was amazingly entertaining and creative. The directors from the Scaffolding Theatre Company were so "right on" in designing the stage, costumes, and choosing the perfect performers for each part. The 3 musicians were amazing as well! Great all-around show. We weren't ready for it to be over. Had the Sunday performance had available tickets, we would've gone again! Great job and kudos to all involved!!!
