Was a great show , Roastmaster didn’t disappoint !!
Jeff Ross is an amazing talent, comic and person. The show we saw the other night, however, was less than stellar. Starting nearly 30 mins late is never great, but the comedy show was originally advertised as the "Roast Master"roasting, rather than what we ended up getting, what was more like a one-man show being worked out in smaller markets before being brought to a large market. The family stories and other things were nice, but not at the ticket price ($90/person).
You'd be hard pressed to find a funnier Comedian that Jeffrey Ross. This last show was a lot different than previous shows as he spoke a lot about his personal life. Yes, he still asked for volunteers from the audience to "get roasted"near the end of the show. But Jeff is a big enough start where he started off by making fun of himself and his life. It was both funny and touching all at once. I am not going to spoil his show..and for those of you that want to go see him...do NOT try to video his performance as that is really irritating to him...someone tried doing that this last show and they were met with security. I also am unsure if you will get the same surprise guest start that we did here in Metro Detroit. In fairness, this "surprise guest"is from our area so who knows. Either way, Jeff will not disappoint you...go see this man. He even made time to hang out after the show if you wanted your photo with him.
He was very good!! Saw him years ago and he’s still got it!
Best part of the show was when he roasted volunteers from the audience. A dozen in all.
We enjoyed his show, he was pretty funny however we were shocked when the show was over in an hour and a half (maybe less since I think it didn't start on time either) and that includes the opening act too! For $120 we paid for 2 tickets we expected a longer show than that. Overall he was definitely funny but we do wish he did more of his speed roasting that he's known for. That's where he really shines!
I have watched all his roasts on tv but seeing the show in person was the greatest !! I hope he comes back again it was definitely worth every penny and highly recommend to anyone that has the opportunity to see him
Extremely funny. I laughed non-stop all night. Second time seeing him...will go again.
We have seen Jeffrey Ross 3 times in a row at Andiamo's and he has never disappointed us. Jeff gave tribute to his long time friend Don Rickles as Don had died the day before this show. Jeff handled it like a trooper and paid a nice tribute to his friend. The seating at the show was well done...there were a couple of glitches with the sound system, but the staff was quick to remedy them. Looking forward to seeing Jeff there in the coming years.
Great show, definitely recommend! He was great, took pics after with everyone.
