Sold-out global concert tours. Ratings-shattering broadcast specials. A best-selling author. A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And a few Guinness Book of World Records set for good measure. Ventriloquist Jeff Dunham is a comedy superstar and one of the world's most inventive entertainers. After graduating from Baylor University, he moved to Los Angeles to base his global touring and never looked back. The man Slate called "America's favorite comedian" has 11 record-breaking comedy specials to his credit - three were Comedy Central's most viewed specials of their respective years ("Me the People," 2022; "Minding the Monsters," 2012; "Controlled Chaos," 2011), and his "Jeff Dunham's Very Special Christmas Special," 2008, remains the network's highest rated program of all time. His NBC primetime special, "Unhinged," ranked as the time period's top non-sports program on the Big 4, rebroadcast six weeks later on Comedy Central to become its top rated special of 2016. His most recent special "Me the People" arrived as the highest rated stand-up special since "Jeff Dunham: The Unrehearsed Pandemic Special" two years ago, and the most watched comedy special of 2022.
His autobiography, All By My Selves: Walter, Peanut, Achmed and Me, landed Dunham on the New York Times' Best Seller list three weeks in a row. He was also named Billboard's Top Comedy Tour for three consecutive years. The versatile entertainer created an animated film for CMT, hosted the Food Network's Halloween Baking Championship, guested on ABC's "Ellen," NBC's "30 Rock," Disney's "Sonny with a Chance," did commercials for Hertz, and appeared in Jay Roach's Dinner for Schmucks, featuring Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd. Dunham, "a dressed-down, more digestible version of Don Rickles with multiple personality disorder" according to TIME, can currently be seen on his Jeff Dunham: Still Not Canceled tour. We loved Jeff Dunham. We had great seats; and loved the Fox Theatre. We have never seen Jeff in person before; but we were blown away at what a great experience we had seeing him live. His entire act from start to finish was well worth seeing him in person. He was funny & we were laughing like 99% of the entire time. He had good material that he used. He always relates with what the current world is dealing with. We were super blessed to be able to go & experience his show. Definitely will do it all over again; and see more of him in the future. Love it! Thank you Ticketmaster for providing tickets to an awesome show!
Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. Greatly needed.
The very beginning of his show was not Fun or exciting - the puppets were very very very fantastic and hilarious!! The intro of each puppet with their name- that was ok- but the Many lights behind the name were incredibly annoying. I have migraine headaches and anyone that has lights like that can cause migraines or even seizures!
A great venue and great evening of entertainment! Jeff was on point as always! My husband, son, and I will see him again.
Been watching Jeff Dunham for many years on TV and finally got a chance to see him live. He is even funnier in person! Great show!!
The show was amazing. If you ever get the chance to see him live do it. Me and my husband had a wonderful time.
The venue could not have been more perfect. The very large video screen located above Jeff and the puppets was awesome. You could see every expression on not only Jeff but the gang. The audience was very respectful and you could hear every punch line.
We are huge fans and have seen Jeff's show a number of times. This was still a decent show, though content was much shorter because showtime was taken up with not one, not two, but THREE commercials. Jeff advertised his wife's cookies, a t-shirt he was selling, and a puppet in between scenes. This detracted from the show and kind of bummed us out. Please sell the stuff in the lobby or on the website and let us have our full content of showtime!
It’s was a great time and I haven't laughed that hard in such a longtime. Did not give 5 stars simply because of the little pushes to promote merchandise. I thought the tickets were expensive, but after his performance I then thought pricing was reasonable. Would see again!
My first time seeing Jeff Dunham was everything I expected and more! He is so talented and extremely funny (laughed pretty much the entire show). I highly recommend seeing this amazing comedian in person, and I will certainly see him again the next time he is in town :) A+++++++++
Jeff Dunham is one best comedian I have ever seen I was laughing so hard I was crying great show very entertaining
He definitely had us laughing whole show but man he talks fast like an auctioneer lol
Show was very good ! Except the part where his was selling someone’s product. I didn’t come to the show to listen to a commercial.
Jeff Dunham did not disappoint. The show was hysterical! Long live comedy!!!
Loved the show and will definitely go see him again next time he’s in tien
The Fox Theater is a beautiful building. The price for concessions is like a lot of the venues over priced for what you get. The line for merchandise was very long, it was nice they put a QR code on the screen when you got in the theater and you could order right from Amazon. The seats are not the most comfortable, but you are so enthralled with the show you forgot about the seats. Loved the clips they were showing on the screen before the show began, it gave some real interesting information on Jeff and his act. Even though Jeff started the show 15 minutes late he still gave a full two hours of wonderful entertainment. He even made a joke about being late in his act.
We previously saw Jeff Dunham in Columbus, Ohio, and saw him this time at the Fox Theater in Detroit; which was the first time that we had been there. What a great, older venue with a lot of character; which perfectly complimented Jeff's characters on the stage. Even though this show had the same title, as the one in Columbus; it was almost exclusively new material that hit the mark at every level. He is a throwback to the older comedians, who poke fun at everyone and everything in a light-hearted, good-natured way; as opposed to having a biased, political agenda. We plan to see him again in the future, whenever he is within a reasonable driving distance.
Fantastic show, my jaw muscles hurt from laughing constantly. A+++++
This was an awesome show hopefully we get to see him again one day!!!!
