Indiana Pacers History
The Pacers have a long history that goes back to 1967, when they were a member of the American Basketball Association. They dominated that league, making the ABA Finals five times in seven years and winning three championships. They joined the NBA in 1976, when the two leagues merged.
The Pacers initially struggled in the new league, qualifying for the playoffs just twice in the first 13 NBA seasons. But things began to turn around after they selected Reggie Miller with the No. 11 overall pick in the 1987 draft. Miller led the Pacers to the playoffs in his third season, which became a trend. They made the playoffs in 16 out of the next 17 seasons, nearly spanning Miller's entire Hall of Fame career, all of which he spent in Indiana.
The Pacers were not able to win a championship in that span, though they did advance to the NBA Finals in the 1999–2000 season. They lost in the finals in six games to the Los Angeles Lakers. After a rebuilding period through the late aughts, the team advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2013 and 2014 led by All-Star small forward Paul George, though they fell to Miami’s “Big Three” in back-to-back match-ups.

Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse
The Pacers moved into their current arena in 1999, when it was known as Conseco Fieldhouse. It has been called Gainbridge Fieldhouse since 2021 (after previously being called Bankers Life Fieldhouse from 2011 to 2021), and it's one of the few arenas in North America specifically designed to accommodate basketball. The Pacers share the arena with one other professional team, the Indiana Fever of the WNBA.

AWESOME AWESOME, AWESOME GREAT SEATS, AWESOME CROWD
It was a great time hosted by the Pacers organization. Although our team didn’t get the win I really appreciate the effort put in so my son and I could enjoy some time together!
Fun family fun! 🎉 great night! Our family had so much!!
Drove past, looked jam packed in lobby , no movement.. didn't park because all parking was $ 10-20 ... Went home and watched the game..
I enjoyed being in the environment. My boys had a lot of fun. I don’t know if it was because it was on television instead of in person but the fans were extremely rude about our players.
Great game, Gainbridge is a tremendous venue!! Pacers are a great team
They just been amazing to watch these past few years.
The quarterfinals at Gainbridge was the most fun basketball game I’ve ever been to! Go Pacers!
My husband and I had a really fun night! We had good seats, good eats and a great game!
Great seats to celebrate a 60th birthday! Loved the private bathrooms and concession stands.
Good seats, great food & drinks. Parking very convenient.
I like everything about Pacers games. Staff was great, food was amazing (test chef - rice & beef), entertainment was great, Pacers were fun to watch. Love family nights & ticket deals. Gainbridge is a great place especially since the renovation.
Everything was amazing. Need better seats next time. But my little boy loved it.
pacers games are so awesome, the energy is amazing. the kids had a great time as well
Love the energy at Gainbridge! Our family had a great time watching the Pacers and can’t wait to go back!
Brother and I were in town to visit family for thanksgiving and decided to go see a Pacers game. Thanks to a Black Friday promo we were able to get seats near the front of the balcony level for less than 20 bucks each. Had a great time watching the game and enjoyed the overall game day experience! Definitely a great environment to catch some NBA action!
The team had a rare off night and played very poorly. But the experience at the Fieldhouse was excellent, as expected. Easy to navigate, good services, and engaged fans.
Great event and great family fun. Gainbridge must improve efficiency entering, but outside that, a nice evening!
Had a great view of the game 🏀 it was exciting. Enjoyed watching Boomer out on the court dunking the ball with other guys.
Great arena. Clean, easy to navigate, lots of food and drink options, helpful staff, comfortable seats.
