Indiana Fever History

The Indiana Fever are a professional basketball team in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). After joining the league in 2000, the Fever qualified for their first postseason in 2002 and reached their first Finals in 2009. The Fever secured their first WNBA championship in 2012 behind a Finals MVP performance by 2011 WNBA MVP, five-time Defensive Player of the Year and 12-time All-Defensive Team selection Tamika Catchings. In 2015, the Fever appeared in their third Finals but fell to the Minnesota Lynx, 3-2. Between 2023 and 2024, the Indiana Fever ushered in a new era with back-to-back No. 1 draft picks and eventual Rookie of the Year winners Aliyah Boston and Caitlin Clark. The 2024 Fever snapped a seven-season playoff drought, while Clark led the league in assists, earned a spot on the All-WNBA First Team and won the Peak Performer honor for assists.

  • Incredible experience.

We had floor seats for semi finals. Amazing!!!!!! Worth the money!!!

  • Rally rags :(

    by A. Spina on 10/5/25Gainbridge Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 4 out of 5

The first home game of the semi-finals in the playoffs and we were treated to a rally rag. Attendees of the second home game received a T-shirt. What would you have done with the T-shirts if the Aces had swept the series and the Sunday game was not needed.. I was disappointed in receiving a rally rag. The rally rag was not useful to make me feel a part of the game. Twirling the rally rag would have obstructed the view of those sitting behind me. Find something better if you are going to treat fans at the game.

  • Fever sizzle

by Sarah on 10/5/25Gainbridge Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The Fever were amazing. Enjoyed the game. View from seats was great. My only feedback is on the elevators and female bathrooms. You need more of both. Other solutions. Have people managing who is getting on the elevators so they don’t rush getting on and cut in front of people with wheelchairs. Bathrooms…bring in those fancy air conditioned portable potties and place them around or take a few of the men’s bathrooms and flip them to women’s when you have events that have so many women.

  • Great Fever game

by Tee Jay on 10/1/25Gainbridge Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

The game was awesome. The environment was amazing. Everyone was cheering and positive about the game. The arena had free red Fever t-shirts on every seat. The usher named Larry made sure only folks with the correct tickets sat in our section.

  • Best stadium experience EVER

    by #GOHAWKSFEVER on 10/1/25Gainbridge Fieldhouse - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

This was our second visit to Gainbridge and both times for Fever games. We are beyond impressed with both parking and the facility. Coming from St. Louis this is like a dream! There are pleanty of staff to enter the building without lines, pleanty of ticket scanners to access without lines and every single person is smiling! Every single staff member is happy to be there! It's wonderful to see and interact with them. The restrooms are spotless as well. I have to say if there were awards for favorite venue - Gainbridge would be the overall winner.
