    YES

by CarolineBackpackGirl on 8/16/12Festival Pier (at Penn's Landing) - Philadelphia

The philly audience pleasantly suprised me with how hard they went. Loved it. Fist pumps the whole way through. Excision killed Excision's Ultra performance. Would of been better if I had.... SHOWED UP EARLIER. loved every minute. Only obvious suggestion: recycling bins. otherwise you guys killed it. If i had been there longer maybe I would have made it into the tent....

Edm is ALWAYS a good time!

I danced my ass off for 6 hours straight entirely sober as well. The music was constantly good. Wolfgang Gartner and Nero topped the night.

    idfest houston

by Anonymous on 8/14/12Woodlands Pavilion - Woodlands

overall the night ended up being bad ass.. the only disappointment i would say is that most of your "staff/security" in the green shirts were being too uptight.. have idfest come back next year but have the whole show last longer

    pretty awesome

by Hotpotsoup on 8/13/12Woodlands Pavilion - Woodlands

This was my first electronic concert/ festival that i've ever gone to, and i have to say, it was pretty good. There were a lot of druggies though( what was i expecting), but the people there were really nice. I wanted to get to the front, but the security would not let me, even though i saw them let people in. But i get that it would get too hectic, so i was fine with a fairly close seat. I got to see Porter Robinson, (which i had been waiting for) and as expected, he blew me away. It was amazing. He played for about an hour, and wolfgang gartner started playing. He was pretty good too, and after he was done playing, i headed over to see Nero. ( And by the way, the free rockstar energy drink samples are amazing. I had too much energy after that) Nero was so sick. Everybody in the crowd was crazy. It was so awesome though at the same time. It was around 11pm when it ended, and i never wanted to leave. The whole festival was amazing. And no doubt, i am going again next year, and i'm actually going to dress up. In a beaver costume, def. I hope to see a line up just as good as this years!

    Blew Me Away!

by FrederickTheGreat on 8/13/12Woodlands Pavilion - Woodlands

The venue was beautiful and the stage was top notch! I couldn't believe how well organized the event was; no time was wasted between each DJ and there weren't any technical errors. Definitely worth the long drive- one I won't ever forget!

    Identity Festival was the bomb

by Chilenodude on 8/13/12Woodlands Pavilion - Woodlands

Before I say anything, I don't think the Woodlands is the best place to host this fantastic event. The main stage was a headache, since they had these weird rules for being in the pit, and you didn't have the option to go hydrate without losing your place. Although I could understand if it were a fire hazard or something, they should have just let the masses congregate, since there was loads of space not being taken advantage of between the pit and the first row of seats. So besides the headache from the Woodlands staff, with an amazing lineup that ID fest have, this event was amazing. Hardwell & Porter Robinson KILLED, and were the highlights of my night. Wolfgang Gartner was also amazing, with Arty and Eva Simmons starting off things well. Eric Prydz was not my cup of tea, but the Nero set was amazing as well. I saw them at Verizon Wireless Theater (now its Bayou Music Center), and they never fail to impress. I thoroughly recommend people with a slight interest in EDM to come to next years IDentity Festival, if only Paul Van Dyk came to Houston, it would have been the best night of my life.

    WUB WUB WUB

by Meribear on 8/13/12Woodlands Pavilion - Woodlands

This event as a whole was amazing and unforgettable. The lineup was mind-blowing, Kerli starting us off in her amazing rave gear, and Eric Prydz finishing the entire night with his sick drops...I couldn't stop dancing! Basically, it was one big party. If you enjoy raves, this is the music festival for you!
