  • Smokey Summer Jam…Still A Vibe

by Ms Berry on 6/30/25Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 4 out of 5

Summer Jam was cool. It’s just not the same. Summer Jam used to be a vibe vibe with great performances and surprise guests. This year was ok it was just disappointing in the fact that there wasn’t a great surprise moment. Not counting Meek Mill coming out and doing dreams and nightmares, (which honestly he can’t really get through that entire first verse he let the crowd do it and that wasn’t even finished). Jim Jones and friends was questionable because you’re looking like what friends? It was just him and Juelz. Additionally his set got cut short and it was extremely long A Boogie came out at like 1:30am, being though this event started at 7pm, getting out at about 2M is tiring. Glorilla and Muni Long was great. Ja Rule was good too aside from the fact that it was no Ashanti or Lil Mo to accompany him on stage to do his biggest hits. However it was cool that Jadakiss, Vita and Charlie Baltimore came out. Ja Rule is a really good performer and has a good catalog. Overall decent show, but my goodness the open smoking in there was unbearable. I get that at certain events there’s an extensive amount of smoking, I assumed it wouldn’t be like that. This event had a way younger crowd which was surprising because of the line up. The younger crowd always brings the smoke literally and the security at the prudential can not control it.

  • Disappointed

by Mont on 6/25/25Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 2 out of 5

Summer Jam Concert Review Unfortunately, this year’s Summer Jam fell short of expectations. The production crew was noticeably off their game, resulting in poor sound quality throughout the night. Set times were extremely delayed, pushing the concert well past 2AM and testing the patience of the crowd. On top of that, the artist lineup felt mismatched, lacking a cohesive flow or energy. Overall, a disappointing experience from a show that usually delivers.

  • Loved it!!

by Shania on 6/25/25Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 5 out of 5

It was my first concert and I absolutely loved it. The time in between when each artist comes out can be faster but other than that the show was LIT!!!

  • 4/10

by Chels on 6/23/25Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 2 out of 5

The event was supposed to end at 12am. Didn’t end till 2:20am. They had so many 30 minute breaks, replaying the same songs. Everyone was waiting for aboogie mostly. He came out and only performed 15 mins. All the big artists started coming out after 12. Had us waiting so long for a disappointment . Didn’t get home till 5am

  • Could be better

by Reece on 6/23/25Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 2 out of 5

I feel like Summer Jam 2025 could have been a lot better. The Afro beats section could have been shorter and the artist line up could have been better. The microphones and sound could have also been a lot better. Overall I was disappointed.

  • A boogie

by Marissa on 6/23/25Prudential Center - NewarkRating: 3 out of 5

They dragged the concert especially when they kept saying they were gonna bring out a boogie at 1 something. Mind you they kept saying every 5 mins and he finally came out latest 1:40ish smh it’s like they knew he wasn’t in the building . but overall it was good but better at MetLife stadium
