Stone Cold Fox and fellow purchase band These Animals were both great, put on an entertaining and fun show, Honor By August sounded like every other 90's alt rock band but overall a really wonderful night of music
I discovered Honor by August a few years ago in DC and since then have seen them approximately 4-5 times, and they keep improving as musicians and performers. Their music is rocking, melodic, thoughtful, positive, playful and generally appealing across the rock music spectrum. I think this is a band with a boundless future and I will continue to follow their progress and see them "live" whenever I can. The Howard Theatre venue was terrific and the acoustics maximized the band's full sound.
Honor By August put on a great show! The only disappointing part was the venue pushing the fans out the door because they had double booked and were trying to get a sorority group in. Bottom line--would see the band again and again but in the future will avoid the venue.
