HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW IN CONCERT:

After a six-year hiatus, punk rockers Hidden In Plain View returned to the stage in 2013 rejuvenated and ready to make up for lost time. Since then they haven't skipped a beat, working the live circuit with exhilarating renditions of crowd favorites like "Twenty Below", "Ashes Ashes", and "Garden Statement". Frontman Joe Reo's huge, emotive voice combined with the band's gritty guitar wails and monstrous drum solos add up to a hard-hitting experience that leaves ticket buyers begging for more. Topping it all off is the band's undeniable chemistry and onstage camaraderie, which prove they're still a remarkable force to be reckoned with.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Pop-punk collective Hidden In Plain View was formed in 2000 by five New Jersey high school students. The band signed to DAB Records and released their debut EP Find in 2001. Their sophomore release, Operation: Cut Throat, traded their heavy rock sound for a lighter, more heartening vibe and earned them a deal with California pop-punk powerhouse Drive-Thru Records. From 2004-05 they toured extensively in the US and UK, playing two dozen Warped Tour dates and co-headlining a European tour alongside several other Drive-Thru artists. Their first full-length album, 2005's Life In Dreaming, showed off an edgier, darker side than their previous material and included the fan favorites "Ashes Ashes" and "The Point". In 2007 the band announced their amicable breakup and posthumously released their second full-length album, Resolution. After six years of silence, they returned to the stage for a reunion show in Philadelphia in September 2013. More dates followed in 2014, along with their first new song in six years, "No Way Out". Hidden In Plain View continues to treat both old and new fans to unforgettable performances brimming with youthful energy.

HIPV sounded as great as ever!

by KoriS on 9/10/13Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Hidden in Plain View was a big part of my early 20s. An amazing band with great performers. Even though it had been years since they performed together, it seemed as if they never left the stage. Joe Reo is the same dynamic frontman, but now he has a young daughter standing side stage! The band showed that while the music meant a lot to us fans, it continues to be a part of them and their lives. This show was amazing. Made me feel 10 years younger!

Hidden In Plain View Put On The Best Show EVER !!!

by 4thbut1stbass on 9/10/13Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Nightmares For A Week - Good Band Young Statues - Good, Catchy Band I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody's Business (Ace Enders) - Most Brilliant/Under-rated Musician alive !! He is the best songwriter in the world (in my opinion) Hidden In Plain View played like they never skipped a beat over the last 7 years. The energy was so positive and pure. I was feeling so energized even 2 days after the show. I was honored to make the drive from Buffalo to Philadelphia. They didn't disappoint. I hope this wasn't just a one time show for them. But if it was, I'm so thankful to have been apart of it.
