BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Hate Eternal formed in St. Petersburg, FL in 1997, taking their name from a song by cult metal heroes Ripping Corpse. Their 1999 debut album Conquering the Throne and 2001 follow-up King of Kings firmly established them as a death metal force to be reckoned with, leading to extensive touring and heavy airplay on MTV2's popular metal program Headbangers Ball. Following a lineup change in the mid-00's, the band scored a breakthrough with their critically acclaimed fourth album Fury & Flames, which cracked the Top 20 hit on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. Their 2011 follow-up Phoenix Amongst the Ashes fared similarly, peaking at No. 18 and leading to more touring. In 2014 Hate Eternal signed with extreme metal label Season of Mist, sparking major excitement among fans for their upcoming album and tour.
