... From the the opening song, none stop metal. The songs from the new ablum(Halford IV) were done quite well. The songs choosen to fill in from Fight to Judas Priest were also great. The commentary between songs gave some insight to the songs. Just to see the Metal God was incredable ...

I last saw Halford at the Tacoma Dome. Seeing him play at the Showbox was a bit of a disappointment and an obvious step down. The sound wasn't good, the stage was small, and even Rob Halford himself seemed displeased. Couldn't even make out what he was saying inbetween songs.

Halford sounds just as good as he did when he was in the Heavy Metal 80's. He never stops outdoing himself. For anyone who thinks metal is dead should definitely go see.
Wow, what a great band he has. A couple of truly heavyweight guitar players, thundering rhythm section and what can you say about the man himself? To see him in a venue that small and intimate was truly a once-in-a-lifetime treat. He just get better and better. Great show!
