Industrial rockers Godflesh are one of the leading metal bands of their generation, spearheading the genre's breakthrough into the mainstream. Combining dark electric guitar licks with thumping bass lines, Godflesh are masters of their craft both on record and in concert. In support of their 2014 release A World Lit Only By Fire, Godflesh will embark on an adrenalin-filled tour, delivering headbang-worthy sets night after night for their devoted fans.
British metal outfit Godflesh got started in 1988 as a project between guitarist/ vocalist Justin Broadrick and bassist G.C. Green. They played several underground shows together with the help of a drum machine, generating significant buzz around their music and earning a cult following along the way. After the release of a number of acclaimed albums, the band parted ways for several years before reconciling in 2009 at France's Hellfest Summer Open Air festival, and a variety of headlining shows around the UK and North America soon followed. Over the course of their 25-year reign, they’ve released seven studio albums -- including 2014's A World Lit Only By Fire -- and inspired members of bands ranging from Faith No More to Korn to pursue musical careers. Back on the road, Godflesh will treat ticket buyers to old classics and new material on their long-awaited tour.
