    GLORIOUS! Incredibly wonderful evening!

by PatPat on 1/29/19North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

Nothing could be better than an evening of Gershwin music perfectly performed by the North Charleston POPS! The pianist/narrator was so interesting and extremely talented. Loved the vocalist as well. The icing on the cake was the full symphonic version of Rhapsody in Blue which concluded the show. That is something nothing can follow up!

    Gershwin

by Sarah on 1/29/19North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

Amazing experience. The man Richard they had tell his antidotes really made the show. I felt like we were sitting in his living room listening to music while he told us these fascinating stories about George Gershwin

    Falling short this season

by CEP on 1/29/19North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

I have season tickets and have been disappointed with this seasons shows. I bought an extra ticket for Gershwin to take Along a friend. I have seen North Charleston Apopa perform Gershwin before and it was brilliant. The vocalist this season have been beneath the orchestras level and far beneath those previous seasons guests. I will get tickets next season to the Charleston Symphony at the Gailliard.

    Glorious Gershwin was fabulous!

by jociacta on 10/3/11Montague Terrace at North Charleston Coliseum - N Charleston

The costumes, the music, the performers, the comedy; what an evening! Fabulous event. The setting at the Montague Terrace was so perfect for Gershwin. I would highly recommend this musical troupe to everyone. Can't wait to see them again!

    Mixed review

by 45country10 on 10/2/11Montague Terrace at North Charleston Coliseum - N Charleston

As always I loved Brad and Jennifer's presentation! The performers were professional and extremely talented. Personally I like theater seating. I feel that my undivided attention and respect should be on the performers and not on my nibbling some delightful appetizer! This setting would be wonderful for dancing with a small band playing and lots of drinks and those appetizers!

    Glorious Gerswin

I was by myself and with the intimacy of the table set up I was able to sit with 3 other ladies and we ALL enjoyed the performance together. And made some new friendships too.

    Glorious Gershwin

by cjmurphy on 9/25/11Montague Terrace at North Charleston Coliseum - N Charleston

Loved the set up of the theatre with the small round tables and chairs. Great having the option to order a bottle of wine so we did not need to summon a waiter. Ordered the crab dip. Not so good, hard to eat during the show. No utensil for spreading the dip onto the crackers and just the one black napkin that was part of the presentation. The show....everyone was fantastic, except the apparent owners of the company. The three women singers and two males were wonderful. Ms. Moranz was annoying, trying to be "Lucy", and the tap dancing with her husband...way out of date.

The Glorious Gershwin tribute was excellent. My wife and I both thoroughly rnjoyed the performers and the facilities. We look forward to the next Montague Terrace production.

    Tribute to Gershwin--not exactly glorious

by profvin on 9/25/11Montague Terrace at North Charleston Coliseum - N Charleston

Overall the production was average, how ever the "comedy" attempts between husband and wife degraded the entire production to fair at best. I felt the piano solos were excellant and especially his extended solo. Tiffany really was outstanding with her solos as well as the duet of "Porgy and Bess". The lighting was questionable which will improve with experience. The sound (audio) has to be worked on but should improve with time.

Charleston is truly blessed to have such talent -- Brad and Jen. They put together a wonderful show and the terrace is a great setting to showcase this type of event
