EBH 4 was not like it was advertised!!!

by Nwonknu on 3/29/16Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

I went to EBH 4 to hear Dillion Francis, diplo, and lucky date to play THIER own music, instead I got songs that weren't even made by them or related to the type of music the event was advertised. Before another DJ was introduced there would be a 5 min delay and each DJ wouldn't even finish their set, rather they would stop in the middle of a song. At one point during Diplo set. I couldn't take it anymore and had to leave. Most f the songs he played was trap or rap, he even played a daddy Yankee song which had nothing to do with the theme of the event. I was very disappointed how this event turn out to be and would never go to another event of EBH in the future.

    Zedd great, Guetta ehhh

by Anonymous on 3/24/15Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

Zedd was excellent. Lots of original music, remixes of known songs, and gorgeous engaging visuals. He also had a lot of energy and you could tell he was having a good time. David Guetta seemed to be treating the show as routine. Visuals were not interesting, and his music seemed to focus more on hard hitting beats than anything actually pleasant to listen and dance to. Actually rather underwhelmed, I had expected a better show from him. Re the visuals, there's only so many times we can be entertained by seeing him bounce his head up and down and put on/take off his headphones.

    Zedd killed it

by Anonymous on 3/24/15Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

The show was good but ended very early. Thought it was 12 which was early already but t ended at 11!!! And no water bottle? Dumbest thing ever. Who dances and hold a cup? Spill water everywhere. I was dying of thirst. Thanks to the nice guys who gave me some water.

If it wasn't for Zedd it wouldn't be worth it

by espionage on 3/24/15Event Center at San Jose State University - San Jose

When I heard that Zedd would be in the area, I was beyond excited! Bought tickets for me and my roommate the moment they went on sale! I'm not such a David Guetta fan but like I said, I finally just wanted to see Zedd. First, they won't allow you to even bring something as simple as a glowstick inside. And not even eyedrops? In the height of allergy season? Okay I understand the safety and all but come on! Next the venue was on the college campus so a bunch of 18 year olds came flocking to the show that didn't give a beep about who the artists were. I have gone to many a EDM event in my life and even during a Borgore show there was less pushing and shoving, especially from people who obviously wanted to be up front just to be up front. Zedd came out, he was amazing. I have nothing negative to say about Zedd. David Guetta on the other hand, I wasn't expecting much, but I was still disappointed. The visuals were boring, the set itself did not get me pumped up. The drops were weak, and the songs were dragged out. All in all, if it wasn't for Zedd I would have not gone at all. Also they stop serving alcohol at a ridiculously early hour especially for a show that ends at 11pm. And it would have been nice during David Guetta's set (since obviously it wasn't that big of a party) to have been able to sit at a table with a drink and just watch. And overall the crowd was dead. I took a few videos and every time I panned out over the crowd it looked dead as if between sets. I have actually seen more exciting crowds after a show has ended than this one during the show.
