    Outstanding

by Biglope on 5/27/17Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Didn't know what to expect from the performers. Would they play just Dylan songs, instead they were all over the place. Each performer acted like they were glad to be there, not just fulfilling a commitment. Never having been to the venue we were excited to experience it and it exceeded our expectations.

    The Spirit of 76

by Marbury on 5/27/17Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

The evening was full of high points and no low points -- a fitting celebration, by any measure, of Bob's 76th birthday. The longtime performers, Boz Skaggs in particular, were in top form, and those newer to the music scene, Valerie June among them, gave plenty of reason to watch them in the years ahead. The "house" band that played behind many of the performers was up to the high standards of the Nashville sessions players who performed on Bob's legendary Nashville albums of 50 years ago. When all the performers came together at the end, they played and sang to perfection You Ain't Goin' Nowhere, with chorus after chorus at the end as if they might never stop.

    Worth the trip from LA!

by jimimack on 5/26/17Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Having never been to a Dylan Fest (and having been a fan of his for 50+ years), I did not know what to expect. But the combination of honoring Dylan - at the Ryman - with so many fine artists, both young and veterans alike - was an event I will not soon forget. I had a great time and loved seeing many performers I was not familiar with. It opened up a bunch of new folks to listen more to. The only down side was that it did not sell out and there was room for so many more to enjoy and celebrate Bob Dylan.

    Forgettable

by Hurlgirl on 5/26/17Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

They didn't even play all Dylan songs. It was hokey. Tourist trap event.

Originally purchased tickets to see Tommy Emanuel. The entire family attended and we were pleasantly surprised! We did not know what to expect and were thoroughly pleased.

Wynonna, Ann Wilson, and Emmylou doin' Dylan, wow!

    by ljl51 on 5/31/16Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Hearing different interpretations of Dylan's work made for a great evening of music. The fact that it was at the Ryman Theater was a bonus.

    Dylan Fest Ryman Auditorium

    by rnrgrl2 on 5/26/16Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

I was able to score tickets for this show last minute and was so happy to be there. I saw many brilliant performances by artists I would not otherwise go to see plus many I have seen before. Standouts were Rayland Baxter, Langhorne Slim, Moon Taxi, Butch Walker, Wynnona ( whom I have never seen and of course Kesha's emotional performance of I Shall Be Released.

    dylan fest

    by Madie1 on 5/26/16Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Not a big fan of "music of" or tribute concerts, however, this event was quite good. Enjoyed the "legends" Harris, Wilson, Judd, and many of the lesser knowns, especially Moon Taxi?
