Good times. if you grew up like I did, in OC and lost count of how many times you went to an Oingo Boingo concert, especially the Halloween one- go see this band. they pay honest tribute, good times, have a solid fan base. People were dancing in the aisles, but you had a place to sit if needed ( lets be honest, a lot of us at the show were over 45! )
I think the sound was off for the first 2 songs, and they struggled but it got better, and they go through it. HOWEVER NOTE TO THE FAIR- / Sound man. The opening history of the fair movie was LOUDER than the actual concert, and sadly, the mixing was off, we could not hear our lead singers voice over the instruments.
the horn section rocked it, and they were good at whipping up the crowd into a happy frenzy. Yes.. we are going next year. Thanks DMP! not a fan of sitting on the side, the speaker that hang are in the way of the stage and big screen.
