Great atmosphere. Great job! Always a great time to bring the kids.

After ordering ticks, an invite was automatically sent to my calendar that says the event starts at 9pm. This was incorrect and resulted in my arrival to the venue just 5 min before it was show over. There was limited parking available on-site a d offsite. Folks need yo plan arrival to the fair grounds no less than 2 hours before showtime.

Such a fun time at speedway. Good clean fun. A fun family event. Get your tickets!

We forgot how much FUN speedway can be (quite an accomplishment for 76 year olds). We have not been to Speedway in over 40 years (after they closed down the San Bernardino race track). My God! The roaring sound of speedway, the balmy weather, the knowledgeable fans, the enthusiastic and strategic riders, the Harvest Moon and the distant sound of screams from excited fair-goers on clattering rides. Only one minor problem - they had the loud speakers up way too high -- bring your earplugs!

The Fair Derby has been traditionally held at the O.C. Fair since the early 1970s, and is a major highlight! Whoever invented the idea of racing alcohol-burning ultralight motorcycles with no brakes on a small dirt track was insane - AND a genius! This is some of the most intense motorsports racing you will ever see, and this year's event lived up to its reputation. The action was fast, and the crowds were crazy about it! One noticeable change this year is the program was rather short, getting over in less than two hours. I know the noise limitations make the program end before 10 P.M., but it was over by 9:30 P.M. No sidecar demos or other added side attractions this year, just straight Speedway racing. It would be nice to start a little early and make a longer program with some other things thrown in. This is one of the best "bangs for the buck" you can get at the Fair!

I have been a fan of this sport since 1975. I now take my kids every year and they too, have fallen in love with the sport. It's an exciting, different type of motorcycle racing. Price is right too. Looking forward to the next race!

So glad to have got to watch this show, It's been over 20yrs since the last show I saw here. After seeing this show I'll be looking for more after the fair is over now that summer is here and this is a great event during those hot summer nights to get out for some evening fun.

I've been going to Speedway for about 40 years. Steve Bast and his brother Mike were my friends from high school. It was so cool to see your friends compete!!!! Today it's great to see all the young riders.....the bikes are better...and skills are unbelievable. I took my friend for the first time...HE'S HOOKED!!!!!

Great fun! I hadn't seen speedway racing in about 25 years and it is still as exciting to watch as an adult as when I was young(er). Would go again.

I bought tickets in advance and had great seats right at the starting line. My 2 Sons went with me and we had a great night. I have been going to Speedway off and on since 1970. Its still as great as ever!
